I honestly have more to say about the eye-mounted computer Google's working on; that shit legitimately creeps me out, man.

Doesn't that fact that google wants to gather almost every piece of information they possibly can about you creep you out already? If you're going to start getting scared of google, an eye-mounted camera seems like a laughably small reason to get creeped out compared to some of the other shit that they do.

Except that none of that is topical; the head computer is linked in the article the original post refers to. So yeah.

It's a layer of rat heart cells glued to a layer of some synthetic crap. It's not an organism of any kind. I might as well peel a sunburn, glue the peeled skin to one of my transformers toys, and call it a cyborg.

I was thinking the exact same thing; thanks for saying it for me. That was in no way a life-form. Of course what it means to be "alive" has yet to be properly defined. Nevertheless, that's still my opinion.
