Since you are on this site, you are probably aware of the storm of criticism surrounding Microsoft's latest console, the Xbox One. It requires an internet connection, you are no longer allowed to own games that you buy, the Kinect is always watching you and writing down your dirty little secrets to send to the corporate overlords, it won't be backwards compatible, and so on.
Basically, everybody hates it. Everyone loves to hate it.
I am no exception. As soon as I found out about all of this crap, I jumped on board the hate train with all of my friends.
What I'm curious about is if there is anything positive to say at all about this gaming platform that, in some eyes, is the spawn of satan. Can we prove that, in fact, even the most soot-clogged, acid-rain-filled cloud has a silver lining?
For example, even if the service will no doubt shut down after another console comes out, I am at least curious about Microsoft's planned feature to allow you to access your games and data on any Xbox One console. Will you have more than 500 mb? Who knows! At least it has potential.
Any other possible positives?
