The unification of a console OS, phone OS and computer OS allowing for far more user friendly interaction is a very good thing, but the way they seem to be using it is extremely lacking at best. The controller is probably going to be compatible with windows so everyone will own one for their PCs which I personally quite like, dark souls PC edition is made infinitely better with a 360 pad after all. In fact, the controller in general looks very good and the 360 pad is definitely my preferred controller at the moment, just can't get along with the spongy dualshock triggers.

That said, I'm never buying an Xbone and have talked to my friends about it- the most forgiving of Xbox 360 users. The response? They're already saving to start building good PCs.

It worked in conjunction with the PS4 to convince me do delve deeper in to PC gaming, which I feel is personal growth on my part.

You know that little space between the kinect and the xbone? the wii sensor bar could fit right in there...

If your xbox360 broke and you where using it for netflix mostly and you hated the design of the thing, the new xbone is for you :p

The used games fee might be really tiny and actually be used just to keep the account database in order. Hm, that's reaching...

Microsoft said that you actually can turn the console completely off so a hacked kinect system can't watch your wank material. More convenient than pulling the power cord all the time.

Maybe there we will learn new things in the future that might be considered positive. We don't know much about the console, not even the price so i can't even tell if the hardware would be cheap or not.

erm...architecture is nice, with it being x86_64, however the PS4 uses the same CPU anyway, so it's not a strong point in its favour, and the OS is actually runs in a virtual machine anyway, so all that nice optimisation is slightly rendered moot by the virtualisation (hey, Microsoft are making an Android gaming machine as well ;-))

I like knowing that if I have it set up in my living room, if someone breaks into my house, I don't have to worry about anyone stealing it.

Sure, let's go with that.
And even better. The Kinect 2 can get a picture of them because it's ALWAYS ON. or at least a recording of their voice.

- No need to change discs.
- Can play any of my games from a friends house
- This :
Xbox One will enable new forms of access for families. Up to ten members of your family can log in and play from your shared games library on any Xbox One. Just like today, a family member can play your copy of Forza Motorsport at a friend?s house. Only now, they will see not just Forza, but all of your shared games. You can always play your games, and any one of your family members can be playing from your shared library at a given time.
- The above counts double if it lets me lie about family; means that within a group of friends (I mean ... um ... "Brothers") we'll be able to share our games catalog without needing to ask to borrow the disc.
- Controller is awesome

The controllers remained almost unchanged, which is great because they have one of the best.
