despite the fact that you can gain godlike abilities from heavy genetic modification
it is a dangerous and unpredictable process
and you could end up as a
freak of nature (the bad kind)

Warhammer 40k is overpriced because they can get away with it, completely unbalanced because of what they figure people are more likely to buy, and a lot of the guys who play it are hopeless rejects that obsess over every slightest rule in the game to the point where it's not even fun. Games Workshop finds thinking 'outside the box' heresy and will only allow the most obvious ideas that the fans thought of years ago. They 'nerf' and 'buff' armies relentlessly just so people will be more eager to buy the next inevitable version of the game.

Silent Hill has awkward controls, the monsters have just gotten sillier and sillier, all the characters are entrenched in the uncanny valley, and I have to go the moon and back just to open a locked door that any competent individual could just kick open. The puzzles can sometimes be clever and well-done... but not most! Most have some kind of ridiculous anti-logic that makes your head hurt when you look up the right answer. More to the point, the puzzles are usually unfun time-wasters between me and where I'm trying to go.

Dofus is designed so that you get enough of the game to be interested and then, "whoops! You can't do that unless you pay!" usually without warning. Only 200 times using the chat-box per day? What, you didn't feel like telling me first? Not to mention the huge influx of harvest bots and spambots that the mods are too lazy or disinterested to do anything about even when they're in the middle of town 24/7.

That said, god help me do I love these games.

Dead Rising 2 for the PS3 isn't as good as its 360 counterpart, nor does it have the DLC, nor are the limited editions as good.

The Mass Effect series always has some kind of tedious repetitive task mechanic, and Adam Baldwin doesn't have a big enough role in it.
