I loved every single thing about the game except for what happens after Harbinger's death ray, but the only thing that literarily made me cry was the end of Thane's storyline:

Shepard: "Kolyat? Why did the last verse say "she"?"

Kolyat: "The prayer was not for him, Commander. He has already ask forgiveness for the lives he has taken." Pause "His wish was for you."
Had to stop playing because I was crying so hard.

Well, apart from the last few minutes, the game was my universe I've spent 5 years to shape with my choices, populated by people I knew and forged relationships with. It is the best gaming experience I ever had.

I'm glad they took a few notes from the Dragon Age team and made our crew live their own lives; their interactions on the Normandy and R&R on the Citadel was the best part for me.

There are better games than the Mass Effect ones if compared individually, but nothing beats the Mass Effect franchise as a whole.

Except Godchild.

Fricken everything except the ending, which i won't go into.
And I mean it. ME3 is one of the most immersive, emotional, and simply best games I have ever played. The scene with Tali on the surface of Rannoch, with Liara as she compiles the time-capsule, when Mordin dies singing. Practically everything was just the best of it's calibre, and has earned a place in my top 10, amongst other such as Knights of the Old Republic, Age of Empires 2, Homeworld, and Tachyon: The Fringe.

I liked most of he game as a whole. The story right before the ending was good, and the combat (especially in multiplayer) is fun. That's it.

Personally i think the defeat on Thessia and it's aftermath was the crowning moment in the ME saga.

To be honest, the entire game was perfect to me (besides the last 10 minutes or so). I mean, I never cried so much. Movies, meh. Books, meh. Mass Effect 3 had me crying at least every other hour.

Maybe I was a little too emotionally invested in the game, but when you write that good, it's hard not too.

I love Mass Effect. Even though the ending was disappointing, I still love the series. It's hard not too when something makes you laugh and cry. I've experienced things that I may never experience in real life.

The best part of the game? Need I say it? Really?

Marauder Shields was the best goddamn part of the game that's what.

Never forget.
Never forget. His name was Marauder Shields.

In all seriousness now, the game is great until the last 10 minutes. Most people agree on that. From a graphical standpoint it's inferior to Mass Effect 2 though. Shoddy animations, low textures, broken necks, invisible characters in cutscenes. It need a patch. And a very big one.
I agree there. The textures up close were pretty shaky many times, but the larger scale stuff (particularly when Reapers are on screen) looks great. And texture pop-ins make a guest appearance as well.... -_-

The Cutscene Incompetence [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CutsceneIncompetence] against Kai Leng was pretty ridiculous,

but I have to agree. It's the first time in the series where you just straight lose, and it made hitting Cerberus HQ so much more satisfying.

Also, the entire final mission. Arriving at Earth with the fleets, that segment where you talk to your crew, nuking the AA gun, the run to the beam and getting hit there (since this is the kind of game where you know you could die for real any second), and I won't go any further because whatever I say will be flame bait and I'm tired of that shit.

The game was great overall, some things irked me but nothing I couldn't get over. The combat in this game was really tight, I loved it. I'm also in love with the biotic heavy melee, vanguard was so fun to play now compared to ME2, so satisfying. You can keep your omni-blade, I'll just force punch people into oblivion. The multiplayer's really fun too, playing vanguard there too mostly. So much fun charging, doing a nova and then finish the enemy off with my shotgun while he's helplessly flying through the air. As I said, great game overall. Had a blast playing through it, and probably will again in the near future.

i...i just can't right now.

they made kelly chambers a psychological wreckage.

and then gave me the option to either encourage her to stay on the citadel or change her name and leave. and i thought staying was the right choice (paragon).
i was wrong and she is dead now.
Dude she doesn't leave, she just changes her name.

There's really no need to re-iterate all the good points that have previously been mentioned however, I was really moved by the significance of the decisions I made. Determining the fates of the Krogan and Geth/Quarian people were really powerful moments, in my opinion.

The decisions were the best part of this game. Having to decide between salarian support and saving the krogan... I hated the dalatrass, but I hated Wreav too...

That and having to choose between the quarians and the geth. I didn't have enough persuasion when I started the mission so it was one or the other... yeah, that part sucked, but in a good way.

I also want to applaud Bioware for including same-sex relationships for both male and female Shepard and NOT MAKING A BIG DEAL ABOUT IT. If only most of the entertainment media would follow their example in this matter.

I liked that they included Javik, the Prothean in the game at normal retail price- oh wait.

The ending was better than Neon Genesis Evangelions'...

But that's like saying a Brown Rice Krispy is less Beige than a Beige Rice Krispy...
