Eminem turned his life around. Even if his music ahas suffered for it IMO.

Many great bands, food, actors/actresses, athletes, movies, videogames, technology and other aspects have come out of America.
Rap music can occasionally pull together some pretty creative lines.
For every 1000,000 songs that today's pop artists crap out, one is somewhat catchy. Not good. But listenable too.
Techno music does it's job to the people that like it. Even if you have to shut off your brain.

The Twilight books/films had plenty of half naked good looking men in them. Can't complain about that.
