Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean may have been a slow, awfully written moronfest, but it sold well enough to warrant a Prequel to be made that was amazing and did everything ten times better than it's predecessor.

Final Fantasy X has an awesome world and a very fun battle system. Shame the story is so obtuse and the main character is a jackass.

Kingdom Hearts 2 may have been twenty plus hours of an awful story that treated it's audience like a group of headless five-year-olds, but at least Winnie the Pooh was endearing. And the Timeless river was amazingly clever. Now why couldn't the rest of the game be like that?

White Knight Chronicles: I really like the combat system, even though it's complete bullshit with enemies hitting you from miles away, but you have to walk up to them to dish out the pain. The combos were an interesting idea, in my opinion not too useful, but it's there.

inFamous would be great as an education tool to other developers as a series of "what not to do in your game" lessons. You might not think that's positive, but education is important!

Also, the disc makes for a great coaster, and we all need more coasters now that we don't get AOL CDs anymore.

Trapt (and it pains me to spell it that way) had those nifty special traps, and I really can't tell you exactly what makes it so inferior to the PS1 Deception series.
Metal Gear Solid 2 is a genuinely great game, even if it makes me burn with rage having to play as Raiden.
Castlevania: Judgement is an interesting idea. The Castlevania-fighting-game part, not the motion-control-fighting-game part. The technology just isn't there yet.
