Scariest game??

The very first Resident Evil. Pretty laughable if you think about it now, but at the time I crapped my pants at every sound and/or movement.

Most definitely. Played it for the first time when I was 9 - had zombie nightmares for weeks.

Same goes for Snatcher on the Sega CD - played it once when I was seven, only managed to get to sleep after reading in the manual that Snatchers didn't attack children.

I was seriously wimpy as a kid.

Not trying to sound tough, but i don't really get scared by games.. supprize-shock sure.

In RE4 when that big monster in the lake ate me off the pier... that was not arGH WTF!?!?
Also in RE4, when you run around the small underground hall beeing chased by one of the renniscance-gnome-dudes creepy twin-minions which you cannot kill, thats the creepiest part of any game i've been through, but nothing scary as in I felt afraid afterwards.
