Ok. So I want to scare myself shitless over christmas break... Easy question what game should I rent if I'm the kind of guy that likes psychological horror, reality is not reality, your going crazy but you don't know it, that kind of stuff.

Amnesia: the Dark Descent is pretty terrifying in my opinion. I could only play about 15-30 minutes at a time.
Silent Hill 2 of course, but I reckon you already played it, because it's awesome.
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is pretty good and has some nice insanity elements that reminded me of Eternal Darkness (also very recommendable).
The Project Zero/Fatal Frame series is scary as hell, not so much psychological but very immersive.

As said above, Amnesia is great.
Penumbra is awesome, but Overture was really a chore. Still need to complete it to catch on to Black Plage at all though.
I have to admit though, the first part of Overture was absolutely terrifying, considering I'm arachnaphobic.
Anyways, get all those games. Frictional is one awesome dev.
