Well I don't really scare easy, I'm kinda immune to jump scares and I haven't had a chance to check out some supposed scary films. But the last time I remember being terrified was I had just watched The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity in a row. So yeah, not scary at all right? However that was ending around 6 or 7 at night, and I was pissed off the movies sucked so I wanted to do something.

Now later that night my buddies and I decide to smoke some weed. And since my friend had almost been caught by his parents we decided to play it safe and go way out. So we drive out to a nature preserve and get ready. By this time it's very dark out and by the time we finish it's almost pitch black. Now it figures we don't have any flashlights with us. So I'm blazed out of my mind in the dark with a bunch of people freaking out having just seen horror movies.....yeah you get the picture

There was that time I did acid, and imagined a giant tsunami of insects was washing over the city, devouring everyone in it's path, while the sky turned blood red and all I could hear was creepy moaning and howling.
One of the many reasons I'll never do LSD. When you have a bad trip, YOU HAVE A BAD TRIP.

To be honest, that was less scary and more ZOMG, mainly because I was still reading the first paragraph and didn't get to see the whole image

Anyway, once I was at this camp in Indonesia, and the toilets were these outhouse-ish deals with a block cut out at the back for ventilation. And while doing my thing, I looked out and to my horror I spotted multiple banana trees. With red threads tied around them

If you're wondering, the significance is that malay ghosts called "Pontianaks" like to reside in banana trees, and if a red thread is tied around a tree it means that there is definitely a spirit residing inside

No. Just no. Last time I went to ED, I got sent to the Offended Section. There is no way I'm clicking any link to ED again.

OT: It was a long time ago. I was maybe about 7 years old. But the Banshee in the movie "Darby O'Gille and the Little People" scared the shit out of me.

Disney in the 1960's...back when they weren't afraid to scare the hell out of you.

Has anyone ever seen 'One Hour Photo' with Robin Williams? There's this one scene where he's dreaming... Euhrg...
That movie is psychologically terrifying. Not the scariest thing I've seen though. That'd probably be the library episodes in Season 4 of Doctor Who. Actually, most Doctor Who episodes have managed to make me very paranoid of sculptures, plastic...everything, really. Practically everything scares me equally so I have no idea what to post in this thread.

A situation in real life that really freaked me out was when a fellow protester got assaulted by a Scientologist. I was basically in shock until a woman next to me was like, "Shouldn't you call the police?" Before that I'd never actually dialed 000.
