Scars on men seems to be a fetish to many, but is the inverse also true?

Do some people have a fetish for scarred women?

A small scar with a hell of a story behind it can be damn sexy, but if she looks like Teddy Atlas I'm gonna pass.

I dont see anyhting wrong with them. I dont find them sexy, but i dont find them unappealing.

I remember I used to date a girl that had a scar that ran from right above her right eye, ran down her face and split, going over her eye with one line and the other going around, then joining half way down her cheek before ending on her chin. She was super nice and really attractive besides the scar (not that i minded, she had a good personality), but she said she got it when she had been laying down int he grass her and father ran over her face with a weed-wacker (-eater). He was an abusive drunk, so it honestly didnt surprise me.

We're still friends, but we broke up, though not over her scar. She just moved away.

So, OT: No I dont have a fetish for them, but I dont think tehy detract from a girl's beauty if she has a good personality. I feel the same way and burns and the scars they leave behind.

Several horizontal scars running down the inside of her forearm are NOT okay. They are a sign of a very troubled history. I've met two girls with scars like that and found they had both gone through some f&ck#d-up sh*t in life.

They were both very attractive, intelligent and nice people, and I don't want to speak ill of them. Still, seeing those marks were a serious Red Flag moment that ultimately stopped me from asking them out.

Eyepatches on the other hand? I am 110% for those!!

Maybe a tiny one on the cheek or above the lip, or just below they eye. Gives a woman a certain bad ass appeal.
Of course, that also could be self loving because I have tiny scars on the cheek and above the lip... not the eye one though, pity.

Depends on the extent of the scarring, a smaller one across the face (Or even an eyepatch) certainly has the potential for hotness. But if she's scarred up like a female Danny Trejo, then I'd probably pass.

I was thinking about this earlier today when I was bored at work. I came to the conclusion that so long as they aren't disfiguring her face or body I'm indifferent.

It all depends if you ask me. If she is covered in scars, no I don't, but this has to be a lot of scars for them to be unattractive. I think that some is sexy, but if its a really really big one on her face or a burn scar that's going to bug me.

I think you're wrong to say that scars on men are a 'fetish' to many. Im sure some people really get off on it, but not 'many'. What I think you are referring to is that a lot of women find men with scars sexy, but thats to do with what they represent. Men with scars are seen as 'bad boys' and similar kinda rebel without a cause kinda guys, and lots of women (apparently) find that attractive.

On the flip side, women who are involved in violence or danger don't get the same kind cool that men do, because 'bad girl' pretty much means 'skank'.

I've been out with a bunch of girls with self-harm scars (I have a bunch too) and it certainly never bothered me, but I never thought it was sexy.

Scars in general look bad. They genuinely do. Its what they tell you about a persons life that makes them attractive.

I kind of have a weird thing for self-injuring girls for some reason, and scars are kinda part of the package there, so I guess so.
