Oh, and all of Grave of the Fireflies. Every. Single. Scene.
I agree with you on Grave of the Fireflies. Most depressing anime ever. Also, a really good one.

One scene that always does it for me is the "Requiem for a Dream" scene at the end when Sara Goldfarb's friends are all sitting outside the mental hospital or whatever and crying; old women forgotten by the world holding each other for comfort because there but for the grace of God go they... that was a moving scene to me. The over-the-top drug/sex/torture scenes in that movie didn't do much for me - we're talking people in the prime of their youth making bad choices - but I have a soft spot for the elderly and animals suffering in movies.

Cast Away. Need I say what scene?
Did the scene consist of "WILSON!!!!! NOOOO!!! WILSON I'M SORRY!!"?
Damn that's an awesome scene. I hate football but Wilson made me care, despite the fact that he just sat there and said very little.

Aside from all the Pixar/Harry Potter ones that people have said already...

I am Legend: When his dog dies as well as when he sacrifices himself at the end.

The Pursuit of Happiness: If you want me to name all the specific scenes we'll be here all day, sorry.

Dr Who: David Tennant's last scene...
Dr: "I don't want to go"
Me: "I-I-I d-don't want y-y-you t-to either!" *sniff

Blackadder Goes Forth: You all know what I'm talking about.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood: When Cristina dies in the last repressed memory. I mean, just, ouch! Hadn't Ezio suffered enough for crying out loud?!

I Am David (book): When his dog attacks the Nazi soldiers so the boy can sneak past unnoticed and the boy just hears one gunshot and the dog stops barking. Oh man! I was a wreck. If you haven't read this book, FIX THAT!

Goodnight Mr Tom: Again, you all know which part I'm talking about.

"I am Legend", with Will Smith. The dog scene. I think I would have gone just as bat shit crazy.
THIS. That scene made me incredibly sad.

OT: The Road to Perdition's ending was also pretty sad.

Angel Beats!
Bawled like a baby 10 times in that anime. And it's only like 13-15 episodes long.

Aside from the Obvious Clannad moments, Kobato. had it's really touching moments, Hanasaku Iroha's made me feel really bad for Ohana recently, Manabi Straight had a bittersweet moment at the end, Rozen Maiden, R.O.D. the TV and a lot of Tears-of-Happiness moments, like in Kamichu!, Aria, Working!!, blah blah blah, ANIME can get to me.

The Shawshank Redemption - The ending made me cry tears of joy. One of the happiest endings I have ever seen in a movie. Ever.

The Green Mile - I think we all know when if you have watched it.

Forrest Gump - Forrest talking to Jenny's grave was a heart wrenching scene.

Many more, but those are just off the top of my head.

The last scene of toy story 3

The ending of 127 Hours was so powerful it brought me to tears

The colony of Pikachu's in that one episode of pokemon

The end of Return of the Jedi

I cried at the end of Never Let Me Go but that movie was just way too depressing

But the most emotional I have ever gotten from anything like movies or TV was when David Tennant dies and becomes Matt Smith on Doctor Who. The way they set it up was really powerful and i had gotten attached to David as the doctor.

The Finale to Scrubs, if I knew how to post a video I would put it up. Also, Up by Pixar, hell most Pixar movies are pretty moving, except for the Toy Story series, I just could never get into them. Oh yeah, Dumbo to this day, and I'm almost 30, when he goes to visit his mother when she's locked up and they play "Baby Mine" gets me EVERY DAMN TIME.

Many of the ones mentioned hit the mark for me. One i haven't seen listed is the end of Where The Red Fern Grows. Both the book and the movie. Gets me every time.

That one commercial from the Olympics... If it didn't have the VISA plug destroying the mood at the end it would be one of the most inspiring things i've ever seen...
