It is sad that we must teach children what is real and what isn't.

Were we all that stupid back then?
To be fair, they're 10 years old, we were all stupid bastards back then.
But we couldn't tell reality from fantasy?

Shit...
Wish I could remember if I could or couldn't.
I could, partly because my mother kept reminding me, and partly because I'm a pacifist in real life (even back then).

The country is in a tonne of debt and we'd save a lot of money by rendering half the population infertile.

The words of an evil dictator? Probably. An evil dictator who runs a financially stable country? Almost certainly.
Ah! I disagree! If I was an evil dictator I'd want lots of people. People mean workers, people mean money you can take from taxes. It's how you manage those people. You gotta sell more products than you buy from other countries. Make the people work for next to nothing, sell the products, get out of debt and other countries into debt. Then you make other countries pay back their debt, not with cash (say it's worthless. Paper money with no value) with portions of their land or have them conform to your rules. Soon, you'll have yourself an evil empire the covers the globe!

Thumbs up for being a clever to whoever came up with this idea, it might not work, but it's a pretty creative, somewhat, idea.

Hmmm... I see your point. When I'm ready to start up my evil empire I'll give you a call :p

well I'll be...

I wonder what would be next, using Civilization games to teach politics?

Or maybe Phoenix Wright to teach legal studies? or Trauma Center to teach medicine or human biology?
Pokemon to teach evolution... lol.

I can't wait to see Grand Theft Auto used as a driving tutor. Before you call the men in white coats, I challenge everyone here to attempt parallel parking in Liberty City in a first-person view

Why do the idiots in charge think 10 year olds need to be told that shooting people and using prostitutes is wrong?
When did this start?

I remember back when I was ten I could tell the difference between fantasy and reality. It could be because eight years ago the graphics were so piss poor that it was hard not to tell the difference but still.

Truthfully it's who you don't give young people enough credit and I'm not saying they are anywhere near thick.

They can draw sensible and logical conclusions in microseconds that can be a million miles from correct.

That's why there's gangsters, mass murderers, bullies, etc, ad infinitum.

I'm actually quite impressed. If this works, then it could solve most of the possible complaints about video games causing those who play them to 'Carry them out in RL'. I mean, I doubt that it'll be any reliable evidence in our favour against the stupid gits that call games dangerous and other whatnot such as various politicians etc. but we can hope! :D

Oh, and yeah. I kinda agree entirely.
