Not at all.

If I recall correctly, the show started off with Domon using "Shining Finger" first.

"This hand of mine glows with an awesome power! It's light tells me to defeat you!" (Or something like that)

Then when we get to the big tournament, that's when he starts using "Erupting Burning Finger" all over the place.
