Right, might as well add to this. There's a bit of a back story, so you folks with short attention spans, look over there. There's a shiny penny.
Back when I first starting going on the interweb, I was young and not very original. I was (and still am) a huge sports fan, basketball being biggest at the time, and being Canadian, my favorite player by law had to be Vince Carter. So I borrowed his nickname 'Air Canada' and stuck some 18s on the end, since that is my lucky number.
A couple years later, Vince turned into a whiny crybaby and was traded away. Not wanting to continue honoring this man, but not wanting to completely forget my online roots either, I shortened my name to AC and attached various words onto it as I saw fit.
Then a little bit more time had past, and I was being mentioned on the radio for being a national trivia champion. However, living in a small town means we don't exactly get the brightest bulbs on our airwaves, and the announcers said my name wrong twice, the second time a friend of mine was listening as he proclaimed my name as ______ Anderson (sigh only 5 letters off, the genius). So my buddy figures it would be funny to start calling me Neo, after Keanu Reeves' character in the Matrix who also had the surname Anderson. I smacked him in the head for it. A couple of days later, I had to create a account for some random website I jumped on to, and was trying to think of something I could stick onto AC when Neo popped into my head, and something clicked. I thought it sounded well together and then I remembered Neo-Tokyo from Akira and figured "They were Neo-Tokyo, after Tokyo, and we are after the aforementioned Carter era, so it actually makes some weird sense too!" So I've been using it ever since. It also turns out that I'm the only person in the whole wide world who uses this handle, so I get full originality points for combining two unoriginal names!
As for the avatar, again showing off my talent for ripping other people's ideas off, that ugly mug belongs to Benjamin Disraeli, who I can feel a certain kinship with because you people "don't even know who I am" either! If you can figure out which show I stole that joke from, congratulations! You may go have a cookie.
