Admitting you use ad blocker can get you into trouble you know.

Why is that?

For those who don't purchase PubClub memberships, ads are the only source of income for the Escapist. It comes across as you trying to pull a fast one or undermine their system to provide you with free content.

I understand concerns, but it's a perfectly reasonable system.

I'm with you one this one those ads get really annyoing, when i highlight something either on purpose or on accident that's where I go to click in order to clear it.

I'm wondering why I see it. I didn't think Pub club members saw those ads.

I am a Pub Club member, and I see the add for it right now too. I was kinda confused on that too. That's the only add, and I could have sworn last week there was none.

Odd.

It seems that when they really want to push something that they'll break their rule. Remember this happening for a day during MM too. I don't really like it.

EDIT: Seriously, I paid money to avoid this.

How can they expect us to follow the rules when they won't even follow the rules?

Also I ranted against the Escapist's advertising policies on a few occasions and yes it fucking sucks.

LET ME REITERATE THIS ESCAPIST: SHOVING ADS DOWN MY THROAT IS A GREAT WAY TO ENSURE THAT I AVOID YOUR PRODUCT OR SERVICE AT ALL COSTS. SO PUT THAT IN YOUR FUCKING PIPE AND SMOKE IT!!!
