Living in the UK, I'm still watching the previous season (which is considerably better than other more recent seasons) however what you're saying sounds terrible. If it hasn't got the janitor in it, then it's not Scrubs.

...How did they have a 9th season? They had a definitive END to the show with season 8. They even had footage of the actors saying goodbye, hugging each other, the whole lot. You can't ask for a better ending. So...wtf?
They do it for money.

no way, scrubs can't be without JD...i reckon it will be shithouse.

i will have to see for myself tho...
Yeah this is me too. I really like the whole cast but without JD it just doesn't seem like it'll 'pop' like it used to.

And what? no janitor? damn, just damn. :/

I guess this'll be the last season, but then again I thought last season was it. For me? I'm thinking its over but I'll give it a few episodes to be sure.

Alright I'm 2/3 of the way through the first epi of 9 and still haven't seen carla. someone PLEASE tell me carla is still in this, please?
NO JANITOR!!!!!! that really is fucked. i don't even know if i want to watch it...as for no carla "WWWWWWWWWOOOPEEEEE" i hated her the most quite easily. Scrubs always does this tho, you never see turks kid or JD's kid......i think they just couldn't be bothered writing script for them or something.

I refuse to watch this show anymore. Last season really jumped the shark for me, what with the Janitor and even Ted getting girlfriends. Seriously, pair the spares much? Those two shouldn't be in a relationship anymore than the Todd. And now the show's had not one but two finales that neatly tied everything up, only for the execs to come around to see if they can wring a few more eggs from this golden goose. No, I say. I refuse. Shows should be allowed to end when it's natural for their arcs, not spurred endlessly onward past the point of the their death. I refuse to play along. Scrubs is over, at least for me.

I have a feeling this might end up being a Saved by the Bell: The New Class

Just so that people know, both Zach Braff and the guy that created Scrubs; (hang on, cheating) Bill Lawrence did not want to continue after season 8 (which, imo, was kinda bland compared to seasons before; only made up by the ending). But, the people that bought Scrubs after NBC didn't renew the season (ABC) wanted the ninth season, so, here we are.

I'll have a lookie to see if it will go (and end up watching the whole of the ninth season).

The show is still funny, and honestly that's why I watch it.

So, I think it's still good.
