Look at that.
She's holding a sword, walking down a burning landscape.
Meanwhile, the two boys are looking like mopey dopey morons. Supes in the rain like dogs locked out of their master's houses. Batman staring at the floor, as if his parent's scolded her.

Kinda... drab isn't it?

Although I guess that's in line with the movie's overall aesthetic. Which a lot of people didn't like and I don't particularly care about.

I dunno, it could have turned out a lot worse I guess.

I look forward to seeing the photoshop joke images.

(NOTE: Not a big reader of superhero comics. So I might be missing some context here.)

Wow, that Eagle on her chest is very American.

Although Justice League Wonder Woman wasn't very subtle eithr.

I forgot to turn on safe search, Martian Manhunter really is green all over.

It's all about those sooper dooper combat high heels.

The rest of the costume I like, except maybe her crown-thing and the color scheme.

It's a bit Xena: Warrior Princess, isn't it?

I don't know, I don't really have any strong feelings about it, it's pretty dull.

I could do without the boot/thigh-high/heel things.

I know you can't have heroes running around in technicolored uniforms anymore, but all bronze? Really?

Not bad, not bad at all. Ties in the Greek/Isles of Lesbos heritage rather nicely, along with the Americana. I like how they managed to get the "W" in without it looking silly. The colour scheme is a tad drab, but it fits together. It suits her, somehow.

The stillettos are a bit odd, but I imagine a fictional battle-princesse have the footwork to manage.

Maybe it will be more colorful in the actual movie, these promo shots look like they've been washed out through some kind of blue or orange-brown filter. I know that's common for movie promos nowadays because of some psychological thing that makes people associate the colors more easily with certain emotions or something like that, but it's really dark in this case and makes the heroes look like they are featuring in 'generic brown colored FPS #345'.

I find it really odd that DC seems to want their movies to be so gritty and serious in their presentation, constantly chasing the success of Batman's movies with their other heroes, while Marvel seems to be going colorful and fanciful throwing some oddball stuff into its movie universe. Growing up reading the two companies comics, Marvel always struck me as the more grim and gritty of the two companies, with DC more focused on flights of fancy and colorful heroes, maybe I was just reading the wrong stories growing up.

Just when I thought I've seen a good real life Wonder Woman image today-

All I can say is that is an upcoming rule 34 Wonder Woman

While I do like the design but did they really have to give it such a dull colour with brown/ bronze? (I'm really hoping it's just the lighting.)

Ok it make sense if they want to disregard the star and stripes part of her origin (an American pliot crash on their island and told them about WW2 and they join the fray and the colours were a tribute to that pliot I think?).

Could they just went with the upcoming The Flash route by just making the red white and blue really dark looking (which I guess has also apply to Man of Steel now I think about it)?

To be honest, I doubt I'd even have noticed it had you not mentioned it. I'm more reminded of the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo actually.

As for the costume? Looks actually pretty decent.

I was hoping she'd be more physically impressive and wearing more practical clothing. I mean it's not terrible or anything, but rather than being fit but with a lithe, agile build she just looks, well, skinny. And high heels? Really? That's one trope I'd be happy to be rid of. They might make sense on some heroines and villainess, but on a character meant to be some sort of amazonian warrior woman it's just dumb.

In summary: Meh, but then it's not like I expect this movie to be any good anyway so maybe I'm just being overly critical and negative.

I didn't think she'd look like a good Wonder Woman when she was announced and I was right. She looks...petite. But that could be because I already know she's a shortie and I expect wonder woman to be tall.

Not sure I approve of the combat heels (though at least they're not stilettos or something equally impractical), but other than that... it actually looks something like what a warrior would wear to battle.

It looks to me like they're solid raised heels, not stilettos. The angle and lighting make it kind of difficult to tell though.

They're raised heels.

Of all the things, that bothers me least. Mostly because they'll probably raise that poor girl up a smidgen so she's not staring at everyone's nipples throughout the entire movie.

Damn. Xena eat your heart out. I don't mind the costume, it fits her Amazon background. Though I can still see some people complaining...

It's not exactly clear what kind of bird it is. I mean, hey, it's not like all birds of prey are connected to America.
