Seasons Beatings 5! (Street Fighter Tournament)

Just thought id let everyone here at the escapist know, one of the bigger annual tournaments for competitive fighting games, Seasons Beatings, is taking place this weekend. Go check out the stream to support the community! Takes place over this weekend with some great commentators.

I'll most likely try and watch it, like I try to do for most fighting game stuff...who knows there might even be a Fuerte there =o

But this news/info will most likely go unnoticed here because of the small number of fighting game fans on this site, mostly cause of the fact a bunch of gamers don't want to learn how, or just think the games resort to mashing, but good luck with getting the info across =D

I believe that they are running several fighting games through out the weekend, as of right now its super street fighter 4 though. Its their biggest audience so they have to run it.

If there is some Guilty Gear or Blazblue, I'll be sure to have a peek. SF4 is ok to watch, but I don't own it and I have always found it less fun to watch compared to some other fighters. Plus if it's a game i have, it means I can pick up a few good snips of info here and there to help my own skill; which is one of the greatest things about watching these.

I think I got my hopes up thinking there's going to be a Fuerte, forgot it was a tourny, so that means mostly Dics, Rufus, Ryus, and some Dudleys. I mean its still fun to watch, but it kind of sucks not seeing your main at all..but I guess thats a given =S
