Curly Brace from Cave Story. She's a minor character, if not one of the biggies. Toroko from the same game.

I don't remember all the specifics, but it was on one of the older Mortal Kombat games. At a certain part in the game, a guy would pop up off the edge of the screen and say "Toasty" (or something like that). Either it was something you got by doing a combo, or it was something that randomly popped up that gave you a chance to unlock something, I can't remember. I just remember it was awesome, and I never got a good look at it because I was always in the middle of a fight.

The Mysterious Stranger on Fallout 3 was always a rather memorable character, and he certainly qualifies for "seconds-long" appearance, despite his appearances being somewhat numerous.

Alot of the characters in Fallout 3 have this. There is the one guy in "The Pitt" expansion who is just inside the steel yard and is trying to talk to his brother who mutated into a trogg. That was very memorable but disturbing at the same time.

There's a character in Splinter Cell (first one), when you're in the Kalinatek building. A wounded technician. On the Xbox version you find him wounded in a room, then carry him to a medical room, then talk to him before he finally dies. He was very minor, but I always remember him for some reason.

I kinda liked that Somalian soldier in Army of Two before Phillip Clyde gouged his eyes out. With his bare hands! Poor guy...

This is from that last part on The Maw right?
I don't remember the actual name of the level, but it was right at the end with the warthog. Turn a corridor, and there's the little bastard, and if on legendary, he just talks about 'food nipples' nonstop.

So many don't believe he exists, and there's only one Youtube vid of him, not with the Legendary difficulty, however.

I don't know.
