I have to go with Zhukov and Daystar. Never really talked with them but I always enjoy reading what they post (for very different reasons).

Another vote for Zhukov and BloatedGuppy. Their posts are either hilariously grouchy or sarcastic, and almost always right.

Colour scientist is another person I notice posting good stuff quite a bit. I still miss the dancing avatar though... shit, it changed again? Now I miss grouchy French lady...

Everyone else that I "fanboy" over is someone I talk to (or used to talk to before I became almost completely inactive except for 1 thread).

Seriously, thanks folks. Maybe it's just because it's 2am of Boxing Day (yay timezones!) and the scotch hasn't quite worn off yet, but that left me feeling unusually Christmas-y.

Hokay, now that my head has been inflated to truly obscene proportions, it must be my turn:

He tries so darn hard to be a voice of reason and balance. Half of me kind of wants to slap some cynicism into him, but the other half finds his earnest outlook on things to be very admirable.

I've seen him (her? not sure actually) around for ages, but for some reason only recently noticed that his posts were consistently both reasonable and entertainingly sarcastic without being mean.

- Bara_No_Hime

For being extremely, ridiculously, unconditionally, conspicuously, improbably nice. No, really. That might seem like a trite thing to say, but I honestly wish I knew how to be even half as open and friendly as her. (Seriously though, who puts underscores in their username?)

There are others of course, but you already know who you are.

Oh, and a quick nod to the mods. A nod-mod if you will (Urrgh, yep, definitely still feeling that booze). Even though my more caustic moments have left me staring down the barrel of the banhammer, I appreciate what you guys do. This place wouldn't be what it is and I wouldn't have stuck around if it wasn't for you folks doing what you do. So thanks.
