Oh yeah, forgot about that one. Funny. Also, I know it's technically an achievement, but I laughed when I first found the Gnome in HL2:Ep2 before I checked the achievements. 'Course, now I hate the damn thing, lol.
Yeah, what level was that on?

The place in the Half-Life 2 Episode 2 caves where you can only get at it with noclip & a message pops up saying "How did you get back here?"

Hmm, never heard of that one. Do tell, where is this "secret cave chamber" located?
Water Hazard level. It's called the "Singing Vortinaught Cave' and you get an achievement for finding it. I haven't, though.

So, there's an actual vortigaunt in there, singing? Hmm. Oh, by the way, if you have sv_cheats enabled, you can't earn achievements. Anyway, thanks. Have to find that one.

As for secrets, remembered another. The two secret maps in Doom 2. I loved playing with a friend over dial-up or a LAN and making our way to that secret Wolfenstein map.

Also got to love finding the hidden "dens" in portal. Weren't they called the ratman dens? I forget I have to play it again for the 17th time lol. Just finding those were kind of cool, but for the most part creeeepy, especially the one with companion cube pictures.

Blood (the original)
there was a secret cave full of mimes at the carnival level and when you kill them all theres a hanged duke nukem there. You can poke him with the pitchfork at which point caleb says "shake it baby" as duke's body swings on the rope.

Now THATS a secret.

Ratchet and clank was full of them.

San andreas where you could use a dildo as a weapon and it's found in the police showers. Can't top that one.

Not quite as interesting, but I loved discovering the website in GTA4 that tells you where all the pigeons, weapons, jumps and random things are. Apparently you can also meet the killer that leaves random body parts in bushes. Never did it myself though.

Ooh, actually I just like the random Cokehead you meet on the street that gives you fifty bucks because you rip the piss out of him. That amused me greatly.

Yeah Oblivion was insane at that. If I ever tried to find all the caves and little areas I'd have another 50 hours added to my gameplay. Not to mention addons. Heck I have 130 hours logged onto the game and I haven't even touched the main quest. Now that's insane.

Getting the "space" ending in The White Chamber.

I looked everywhere afterward, and there was absolutely no mention of that ending, so I felt a bit smug.
