oh father what shall I confess today...

I don't care too much for GLaDOS
I love Nintendo and think anyone above 13 can enjoy it
Between the 3 consoles, I'd choose the Wii
I enjoy Glace (http://www.download-free-games.com/freeware_games/glace.htm)
I go by a philosophy that states: anyone who brags at being a bad ass in Smash Bros suck at it(I've never been wrong before, EVER!!!)
I despise zombie games(except Bioshock)
I hate Valve's online support
When they make Halo 3 for the PC, I'm getting all of them for PC.
I'm a guy and like Kingdom Hearts 1(It's not all that bad once you get further along)
Half-Life 2: Episode 1 was a disappointment
I can't play hard mode on Guitar Hero
I enjoy single player a whole lot better
I have over 300 hours logged in Twilight Princess
I pirated Stalker and Warhammer

I like FFIII, VII and IX.
I have never finished FFVIII because I couldn't bring myself to save Rinoa. I hate her.
I love the Xenosaga series.
I spent $70 on a copy of Xenogears.
I've spent over 56 hours playing Okami, and I'm only half-way through the game.
My hatred for Kingdom Hearts is matched by no other.
I love Fatal Frame (Or Project Zero, whatever you want to call it).
I thought Halo was boring, as well as Gears of War.
I managed to purchase a SNES, two controllers and a copy of Super Mario World for $20.
I sing along to the Portal ending song every time.
I bought a Wii and 5 games, but only ever play the download version of Super Mario Bros.
I own the Gold Cartridge of both Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time.
I love Zone of the Enders.
I love Duke Nukem.

This felt like the perfect thread to make my first ever post here... but here goes...

Despite once being a huge DDR fan, I never really cared for Guitar Hero.
I sold my Sega CD and copies of LUNAR, LUNAR 2, and VAY in order to buy a Sega Saturn (what a fool I was...)
I've always thought Kefka was Final Fantasy's greatest villain.
I once played Morrowind for 12 hours straight, took a four hour nap, than played for another 5 hours. (breaking occasionally for food and bathroom needs).
And the big one...
I actually enjoyed Sonic Heroes.

Whenever a game has a good/evil plot fork, I always feel guilty doing the evil stuff, don't do it properly, and then end up still going down the good path even though I was only doing evil things to see what happens down the evil path. I feel bad about killing peasants, even though they don't even have personalities half the time.
Ha ha I do this all the time. Tried to play Deus Ex again being bad, killing everyone, but I couldn't do it! I would be sneaking up on someone, stealth pistol in hand, next thing I black out, there's a body on the floor and a prod in my hand.
I felt VERY bad for the raptors in Turok 2. They looked somehow cute and adoreable and after seeing how horrible death animations they can have (puke blood until death) I was a little shocked like "oh my god...NO... what have I done !" so I tried to avoid killing them. Very helpfull was the tranquilizer gun to put them asleep and alow me just to go on. This game was hard and challaging enough, but I managed it to keep the raptor population alive as good as possible.

I too enjoy Mario Sunshine and still look for my blue coins occasionally(great when your hung over), I also got bored of Bioshock and never used the plasmids. Though the weapons upgrades look smart.

On occasion I load up games I know I don't like then close them down before I get off the title screen.

For some reason the other day I remembered a game called unirally for the snes that I used to play dloaded it and played it all night, in fact that gives me an idea.

I never beat FF7 (I know I know. I also never gave a damn about Aeris)

I own at Arcana Heart(it's 50 cents at the chinatown arcade and all the characters are adorable girls... I am but a man)

I watch my sister play Final Fantasy X-II but never play it myself. (again... adorable girls)

Edit: Oh! And I occasionally strip my female WOW characters and watch em dance. Even did it once for the undead chick (I think I have a serious problem)

I had this odd mental deficiency as a child... I thought that no one would release a game if it wasn't fun, and so if I wasn't having fun, I must not be doing it right. I must have spent hundereds of dollars on garbage games, and never even realized they were garbage. It took a week, but Bubsy 3-D cured me of that particular defect ("What? This can't be it. Is this it? Hand me the instructions. Teleport death zone?").

I haven't bought a game new since 1998. I'm pretty sure that's some kind of consumer sin.

I backed up all my PS2 games, and am waiting for a decent emulator so I can stop putting up with bricked PS2 lasers. I hear that's illegal, but I bought the games and I bought the system (THRICE, and two replacement lasers) so screw the DCMA.

I bought Warcraft 3 and Starcraft, but I was so bad at it that all I played were tower defense maps and comp stomps.

EDIT: I made it halfway through FFX, then watched my friend clear the sphere grid, and never touched a FF game again.

I never finished Ninja Gaiden. Now I've admitted that I have to go hand in my hardcore gamer card.

I have only once played a classic mario game, first mario game i played longer than 20 mins was for N64 (if that isnt embarrassing i dunno what is)

I never finished Ocarina of Time (only got to the Water Temple)

I played Maple Story cuz my friend told me it was cool...apparently cool is killing muchrooms and snails??

I like CoD2 better than CoD4 (im a rifles only man at heart ^^)

In fact, ive owned CoD4 since it came out and have only played it 20 hrs, while in that same span i have played over 200 hrs of CoD2

I get called a hacker alot in CoD2 because i rock people's socks, and although i dont hack, part of me wants to download hacks just to see what they are like.

Part of me gets annoyed when i play in CoD2 servers and someone spectating says to someone else "hey you are really good" and i have a score that is alot better than theirs..."Dude what about me, that guy is a chump" lol (a bit of an ego perhaps ^^)

I have never played a Final Fantasy game. Ever. And I never will.

I have never played a Metal Gear game. I have watched, but never played.

I think Crysis is gay solely because i couldnt beat the demo lol

I STILL havent beaten Half Life 2, which is partially not my fault cuz my friend downloaded it from his Steam account onto my PC and wont tell me his password

I am actually putting off doing homework right now to do this instead lol

I use Xfire ALOT more than i use AIM...fucked up, i know.

I find console games to be boring (except Guitar Hero ^^), cuz im not used to playing with controllers so therefore i suck and get pissed lol

My parents got my siblings a Wii for christmas. My 8 yr old brother can beat me in every Wii sport imaginable O_O

Come to think of it...if you had to list the 50 greatest games of all time, i probably would have only played about 5 of them...and i call myself a gamer :(

I never beat the original Super Mario Bros. I made it the 8-4 and screwed up. It was at a time when I didn't have all day to game, and I haven't played it since.

I have beaten Half Life 2, the problem is that I can't play it. I played it using my friends Steam account but he has changed his password and won't tell me, so I feel your pain.

And I almost always cheat in games.

The first 'real' game I ever had was Command & Conquer for DOS.

I still haven't beaten GDI or NOD campaigns on it without a trainer/mod tool.

All right, time for a few more. I love this thread.

1. Kingdom Hearts is one of my favorite games ever, but I didn't much like Kingdom Hearts 2.
2. I adore BioShock, but got bored during System Shock 2, mostly because I guessed the so-called "twist" in System Shock 2 about 5 minutes after we met "Rebecca," whereas I didn't guess the twist of BioShock until about 5 seconds BEFORE Atlas revealed his true identity. I knew Atlas wasn't who he said, but I thought he was going to turn out to be someone else.
3. I don't understand why Sonic is getting bashed for things that Mario has been getting away with for ages. Aside from the loading times (and the forced speed sections which ate extra lives like candy), I never understood why Sonic's 360 game was so despised.
4. The only games for the 360 I really enjoy are DOAX2 and StH360.
5. Myst is one of my favorite game series. What's more, I think Myst IV: Revelation is my fave out of all of them.
6. I bring a copy of Dance Dance Revolution to nearly every club event and party I go to because it's such a huge hit and it gets attention, but I never play it myself because I completely suck at it.
7. I've enjoyed every Harvest Moon game I've ever played, except for A Wonderful Life, and the Game Boy version.
8. See my comments on the "When was the last time you cried or teared up at a video game" thread for my essays on that.

I have no patience with puzzles. I screw around with them for 3 min. max and then start googling walkthroughs. Needless to say, Myst just never happened for me.

I quit playing Morrowind at the character creation stage - I do not sit down in front of my console just so I can spend 40% of my play-time frakking around with eleventy-item menus.

Despite my love of all things Japanese and my love for RPGs, I have never played a JRPG because their little china doll faces, dumb hair, and ridiculous costume design bug the shit out of me.
