I'm better than all of my friends at Guitar Hero, but I don't even own a copy of the game.
I think all Final Fantasy games are WAY overrated.
Same with Metal Gear Solid.
I've actually beaten Dead Rising all the way through, even with the RIDICULOUSLY small text and annoying janitor telling me what to do.
It took me two years to beat The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time because I refused to use a strategy guide for that stupid water temple.
Even though I think it is extremely over-rated, I personally think that Halo is, at it's core, a very fun game. I just hate most of the people I run into on Xbox Live playing it.
I have actually gotten a character to level 70 in World of Warcraft, and enjoyed it. But I'm not an addict. Seriously, I payed my time with the game cards and whenever they ran out I'd just be like "Meh, I don't feel like playing WoW for a month" whereas all my friends who played were pretty much the equivalent of crack addicts. Took me a year to get to 70 because I actually had a life and did things other than play World of Warcraft.
I downloaded the nude patch for Oblivion, but never actually installed it to the game.
I still play my old Pokemon games, but only when the power goes out and I don't have a good
book to read.
To this day I still can't figure out how to make the downloadable stuff for Garry's Mod work....stupid Vista and its un-user friendliness, I want to have Star Wars characters in my G-Mod!
Once, a friend and I hacked our schools server so we could install Diablo 2 and play that instead of actually paying any attention in web-page design class. Best choice I made in school that year.
And I was thoroughly disappointed in the Mass Effect sex scene.
Oh yeah, and a friend of mine bought Hellgate: London and said "Wow, this is great, you need to play it." I'd heard bad things about this game, but my friend generally has good taste in games so I went over to his house and played it. After and hour of what felt like the equivalent to stabbing slivers of bamboo up my finger nails, I stood up and punched my friend square in the face for making me play it. To this day we still laugh about it.
