I've never completed a Zelda, Metroid, Mario, or Final Fantasy game (despite owning one of each), but I've beaten Enter the Matrix three times.

Here are all of my worst secrets:

I never beat FF7. I never even got past the first boss, to be completely honest.
I enjoyed Fusion Frenzy (I don't anymore, but still).
I bought a Yu-Gi-Oh game.
I've never even seen a copy of KOTOR, let alone try and buy one despite considering myself a huge RPG fan.
I've never finished a Zelda game. Ever. I've gotten close a couple times, but I've always stopped for one reason or another.
I find both Mass Effect and Halo 3 to be vastly over rated.
I find Team Fortress 2 to be more fun than either Call of Duty 4 or Halo 3.

That's all I'm going to post. I feel pathetic enough as it is.

That's not at all embarrassing. Most others do too, especially me. Halo3's a great came to multiplay. But CoD4 suffers the same fate as Halo; Crap campaign but better than average mutiplayer.

Maybe it's just because of the people I spend time with. Most of them would maul me if I was to say that to them.

This'll be interesting...
First, I have never played a PC game that you would have to install. Seriously...EXCEPT Sims 1/2.
I openly admit that the ONLY RPGs I enjoy are Fire Emblems and...Kingdom Hearts.
Going along with the last one, I hated Oblivion...but LOVE Viva Pinata.
I have to have played a predeccessor to a game and have LOVED it to buy a single player game on the 360...and sometimes the Wii.
I just played a Resident Evil game for the first time...TODAY.
I'm an acheivement whore to the point...where I won't want to play a game if there are no more achievements for me to earn.
Even though I'm a self proclaimed Nintendo fanatic...I have never owned an NES or SNES.
I have a bad tendency to buy games over again...upards of 4 times.
Besides games that have been remade/appeared on the virtual console...I haven't played any NES/SNES games.

Any games you can infer I haven't played because of what I listed, you can almost be sure you're correct.

EDIT: Oh, and out of the 3 Phoenix Wright games, I have cried 6 times...and every time I originally cried, I cry again when I regularly play them over.

Unless Mass Effect gets MUCH better in the next game (Bosses that aren't crap, a Campaign that last more than 5 hours, main characters that actually have a decent backstory and are willing to talk about things more than an NPC, a Campaign that's not so dreadfully EASY that it makes me think I've picked up Dora the Explorer by mistake, a side quest that doesn't take place on the SAME damn planet in the SAME damn building with the SAME damn generic robots/aliens/humans) then they could suffer the same fate as Xenosaga.

I enjoyed playing Viva Pinata(It's so silly but still a solid game).

Until the end of last summer, I had been playing WoW since I was a beta tester, longer then 95% of the players at least.

A small part of my brain is still waiting for Duke Nukem Forever.

Though I want it to be good, I think SSBB will suck, and ruin the Wii.

On 90% of the console games, I'd rather listen to music then the sound effects.

I know of this site because of Yahtzee.
I've watched all of Zero Punctuation about 20 times.
I can't spell Punctuation.
I like using the microphone in Rock Band.
I love Viva Pinata and Sims.
I bought a DS to play Pokemon Pearl, and then I sold it back to get Halo 3 and Oblivion Game of the Year Edition.
I find the Wii Gimicky and uninteresting.
I can't get into Mass effect.
I enjoyed Assassin's Creed.
I beat all Halo's on Legendary within One week of it hitting shelves.
I can 5-Star most songs on Guitar Hero, but have never kissed a girl.
I have bought 3 WoW time cards and 3 months of play on that game and I hate it.
I listen to Beck, K-os, Gorillaz, and Led Zepplin while I play games from Halo 3 to Viva Pinata.
I didn't study for an exam so I could play Halo 2 again.
I traded in Guitar Hero III after finding out it had AFI on the song list and no Led Zepplin, AC/DC, or Beatles.
I want to move to Vancover or the states so I can get Video Games a few days early.
I have entered 8 submissions for articles for this site and have been rejected everytime.
I like Dells and Windows Vista.
I know more about video game developers and publisher, than what's going on in the world.

I hope you guys are ready for this...

1.) I?m a twitching, Ritalin-popping, misty-eyed, ?games r art? Xbox owner.
2.) I enjoyed and still consider buying Bulletwitch.
3.) I?ve gotten it up a few times by watching Mortal Kombat fatalities performed on the female characters.
4.) My female character in Mass Effect ended up doing Liara, but secretly I wish she could have done it with Garrus.
5.) I have never come close to beating a Legend of Zelda game without the use of a guide.
6.) Coincidentally, Twilight Princess was the first Zelda game I finished, excluding side quests.
7.) I have never played Fallout.
8.) I consider Halo 3 to be a Godsend and enjoy finding out all that I can about the Halo story. I own many Halo action figures and make a series of comics with them.
9.) I find Dead Rising quite annoying and will probably sell it in the near future.
10.) I?ve enjoyed every Sonic game I?ve played except Secret Rings, which is, humorously enough, what many people consider to be the best Sonic game in a while. That?s right. I like Sonic 2K6 better than Secret Rings.
11.) I received Super Mario Galaxy for Christmas but haven?t so much as removed it from its case as of yet.
12.) I never play games on their hardest difficulty setting. I find playing on easier settings much more fun.
13.) I like console gaming better than PC gaming, mostly because I grew up with a controller in my hands and fond memories of me and my dad playing co-op on Toejam & Earl.
14.) I?ve also gotten it up by way of Rouge the Bat from the Sonic series. I also own a Rouge plushie, imported.
15.) I believe that Call of Duty 4 is getting too realistic for me. I?ve gotten to the point where I feel bad for the AI enemies I have killed, and frequently ponder if they had a family back home.
16.) I have this terrible habit of leaving my Metroid Prime games sitting around for a year, close to being beaten but not, and then going back, starting a completely new file, and beating them in the course of a day.
17.) I hate doing anything that takes me away from video games.
18.) I played World of Warcraft for a week and got bored of it.
19.) Horror games scare the ever-loving shit out of me, yet I enjoyed the Silent Hill film adaptation.
20.) I consider Dynamite Headdy to be the greatest game in the history of forever.
21.) I got an account here simply to reply to this thread.

I would like to add that I do indeed have a girlfriend, have kissed her, and she thinks my geekiness is sexy. And no, she is not my right hand or the chick from whatever porno I happen to be watching at any given time. Nor is she imaginary.

Same here. In the lead-up to #2, I scoured the internet every day for information on new characters and Disney franchises that were going to appear, similar to what I do with Super Smash Bros. Brawl now. I finished the game on Hard mode when I got it, enjoyed it, and have never played it again to this day.

My brother and his friends got into World of Warcraft, so I did too. I introduced my friends to it, and their unsettling obsession with it led me to quit. I had played it for what must be hundreds of hours. They still play and discuss it, and that still irritates me.

I am deathly afraid of being considered a nerd, despite playing video games on my own free will.

I never played through Ocarina of Time in its entirety. I tried to on an emulator but was quickly bored. Meanwhile, I played through Twilight Princess on the Wii and loved it. I recently borrowed Wind Waker from a friend and disliked it.

Speaking of emulators, I have used them to play through the Sega Genesis Sonic games and Super Mario 64 in their entirety. I loved them.

I have never been irked by graphics in a video game.

I want to be a big budget film maker when I grow up. If this happens, I want to use the industry respect I'd gain to collaborate with Sega to make a Sonic 3D game. It would be called Sonic Legend and revolutionise action games, whilst reviving the franchise. I constantly have the concept running around in my head.

My DS has a problem involving the game Elite Beat Agents. Whenever the spin wheel pops up and I spin it, it shuts the game off. I'm still trying to get it fixed, but the experience has made me deathly afraid of playing the final song on Divas mode. I let my brother do it.

I currently have an obsession with adventure games like those from LucasArts. I have bought both Curse of Monkey Island and Grim Fandango. I'm playing the latter at the moment and loving it. I'm also obsessed with "original and understated" games like Psychonauts, and I think I have Zero Punctuation to thank for that.

In the games room of a hotel I was staying at during a holiday, I wrestled a PlayStation Controller from a little kid to play the console. I proceeded to play such quality games such as Tom & Jerry In House Trap and Digimon Rumble Arena, while my siblings played pool.

My high school has had obsessions with playing LAN matches of Counter-Strike and the Halo Trial Version on the computers. I joined in the latter.

I think that'll do for now.

JUST REMEMBERED: I have tried playing through Final Fantasy VIII twice, and always given up at the final battle of Disc 3. I hate the Junction System.

I finally broke down and bought Half Life 2 several months ago, and hated every single minute of it. If it weren't for my OCD-like perfectionism I would never have finished the damn game. The only reason I didn't immediately throw the damn disc in the microwave shortly after completing it, was the part where the gravity gun is actually good. It takes every ounce of determination not to punch the next person that simply can't stop talking about it. (I still regret every hour I played that game. Damn you OCD-like symptoms, damn you!)

I thought that the Halo franchise was the best thing since sliced bread and that it was a Godsend until I played BioShock. BioShock slapped me in the face and made me see what a real plot was. Don't get me wrong, I still consider the Halo games in my Top Ten Best Games.

I still have yet to play a single Zelda game, and probably won't.

Same could be said about Final Fantasy. I think it looks stupid, stop bothering me about it already.

After a day of knowing what Pokemon was, which was in 4th grade I believe, (I'm a Junior now) I could name every single one.

Even though I play on Xbox Live, I still know what grammar is and I have a full comprehension of the English language. Scary isn't it? (Not really embarrassing, but true.)

I actually played Dead Rising for the plot and wondered why people kept talking about sandboxes in it.

I still consider Battlefield 2: Modern Combat to have the best online experience of any game, Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3 put into that category, it was simply brilliant the way it was done and wish that they'd make another Battlefield: Modern Combat game. (I loved sniping)

I still have yet to play Psychonauts...

I've not once been turned on by a single female in any game. (I'm straight.) I just happen to prefer the real thing.

My girlfriend finds my nerd-y-ness sexy. (Not embarrassing, but true.)

I got an account on the Escapist just so that I could post onto this thread. Why would I want to put forth embarrassing information for random strangers like this?

- I think that when "Aria di Mezzo Carattere" is played with a full orchestra complete with the correct vocal talent in Italian, it becomes at the very least, a moving, legitimate, if short, Opera; even though it was written by Nobuo Uematsu for Final Fantasy VI.(Who says that Music meant for video games can't have academic credit when they deserve such)

- I've only beaten two final fantasy games, IV and VI, despite owning two more and playing four more before selling them, I gave up on FFVII right after the second disk started, but I've beaten Chrono Cross four times.

- I think I've beaten Fallout II more than 11 times with different character builds

- I beat the Columbian Missions in Hitman: Codename 47 with only a knife on the hardest difficulty setting, and that's sad.

- I still play Diablo I single player.

- I never beat MGS 1, I played until the dogs, and turned it off after I had to use a clip and a half to take down ONE dog, never looked back and I've never played another MGS game again.

- I own entirely too many video games......84 on Steam alone! 51 game boxes stacked neatly on my desk and many more elsewhere not including the console games.

- One of my favorite games of all time is Pipe Dream

-I own X-com enforcer and infrequently still get the irresistible urge to play the whole game and uninstall it again. (To counter this I also own every other X-com game and play those more frequently)

- I played Ocarina of Time briefly(30 minutes) and was in possession of a class-mates copy of said game for four and a half years but never touched it again.

- Always found the story of Halo more intriguing than the game play, I don't own an Xbox: anything though.

I hate halo, mediocre fps that the console gamers think is the best fps ever made, idiots!
I have also stuck a dual shock pad down my pants whilst it was vibrating and was dissapointed.
I only signed up to the website to reply to this thread.
I bought a gamecube just for Windwaker and got bored of waiting for it to come out, so I sold it, then bought another one when it came out, completed it, sold it again and now I need to get another one for TP :(
I really enjoyed the singleplayer in COD4, the ending was sublime, multiplayer is even better.
I have played and completed Half-Life more times than i care to remember.
I loved Bioshock.
And lastly, Your mum left her bra at my house, although come to think of it, it could be your sisters, i'm not sure!
