So this was inspired by MAR89TUM's slow motion weapon animation videos on youtube. What jumped out at me was how the bolt release button on the weapons that had them (M4/16, SCAR) often didn't pop into a usable position on empty. Observe:



See what I mean between the videos? Top: wrong. Bottom: correct. Ever since then I couldn't stop seeing it. And there is our topic, what is something you noticed once and then couldn't stop noticing afterwards when it came up?

Well, as a writer, I can't help but see how certain plot elements will come together. However, it doesn't ruin the plot for me. I just take a guess and see if I'm right. The point is that I can spot the Chekov's Gun at fifty paces easy.

After a heavy session of TVTropes the next work of media I have the pleasure of playing, reading or seeing, I can't look at it the same way. I just can't.
Also, the cartoon theory relating to Courage's owners being dead stuck with me ever since.
