seeing red

I once busted a blood vessel in my eye during a sparring match. Not really the same.

Good lord, can you still use that eye?

It healed quickly, though it did make most of my left eye red for about a week. Not a very bad affliction, just a small vessel ruptured when I took to many right hooks. I heard it's possible to bust one while sneezing too hard.

...Crap, I can never sneeze again just cause of that.

I once smoked some marijuana that must've been laced with something, because, although my thought-process and brain were unaffected, everything had a pink hue for the rest of the day.
