SEGA characters in Warhammer 40K universe: What kind of roles they have?

After we saw the sad news of THQ closing its doors, we also learned that SEGA bought Relic Entertainment. The companic that created the Warhammer 40k games in the past.

So lets just assume SEGA convinced Game Workshop, the owners of Warhammer 40k franchise, to create a cross-over.

A world of Warhammer feeled with ONLY SEGA characters!!!

What kind of role Socin the Hedgehog, Eggman, Shinobi, Jack from Madworld, Bayonetta, Clockwork Knight, Jet Set Radio characters and many, MANY more in the dark and grim world of Warhammer?


Lets this MADNESS begin!!!!!!

I expect many an assault marine to be knockback spammed to death hearing the horrifying murder chant "IT'S NO USE!"

Tails would obviously be a member of the machine cult (someone is totally going to call me out on my ignorance of lingo, as I am always bad with lingo).
Big would be an ork, and therefore much more bearable.
Silver would be a psyker (big surprise).
Sonic and Shadow would be Space Marines, because they're too important to be space elves. Shadow may be a Chaos Marine.
Amy would be a battle sister? I really don't know or care here.
Robotnik would be Tau, but more evil. I suppose he could be one of the terminator things which name escapes me. The current fluff is that they have their own leaders and factions now right? That would better than the Tau.

And then a Dreadnought shoots him with an assault cannon. That or Sonic goes Super Sonic and he is heralded as the next Living Saint of the Emperor.

Robotnik would join the Adeptus Mechanicus, they'd love him with all his converting animals to machines. Clockwork Knight would be revered as a Holy Avatar of the Machine God by Techpriests. Bayonetta would be processed for witchcraft and be fed to the Golden Throne to sustain the God-Emperor. Jack from Madworld would be drafted to the Imperial Guard and be immortalised as the legendary Colonel Chainfist.

I expected to say Robotnik to be an Necron, because you know, robots.
And yes, Necrons are the terminatos you are talking about.

Ash from "Hell Yeah!" being a Undead Daemon Khorne Prince sound sweet, but I prefer the heroes from Golden Axe being part of the Space Marine army.
And of course, Death Adder must be a Khorne Chaos Terminator Lord!!!

Considering what 40k fluff is like, I don't think many Sega character would survive very long in the grimdark meatgrinder that is the Imperium. I'm guessing Bayonetta would be fine, maybe Jack and Shinobi too.

The rest could probably still fill the role of mutilated pile of bloody gibs. They need craploads of those in the 40th millennium.

Nah, Sonic is clearly some kind of Chaos being. The tendency to turn gold, become indestructible and become an unstoppable, uncontrollable vessel of destruction should be the clue.

Doesn't really matter which God he'd serve, probably Khorne, since Sonic's preferred methods of combat are to stamp on things or spin so fast that mere contact with him causes the enemy to disintegrate in a cloud of smoke.

In the 40k verse that means he's followed by a literal wake of blood and gibs as he smashes through legions of mortal with terrifying speed, Khorne would approve.

All this is fine in theory, but Just cause Sega got Relic that means other RELIC games. I saw no mention of the 40k license cause i believe how careful GW is with there IP i think the sale might have excluded them. Cause Relic went pretty cheap if they got the 40k license. Kinda like the WWE license there was no mention of it in the papers so it's possible that the WWE can shop it around to other dev's now.

Don't know that many SEGA characters to begin with, but...

Bayonetta is a champion of Slaanesh. Fitting
Jack is a champion of Khorne or alternatively an ultra-gruff Imperial Guard officer. Either part suits him fine.
Sonic is a colossal pussy who gets beaten to mush by the two aforementioned characters never to be resurrected ever again.

There aren't any characters in the Warhammer 40k universe. That's like trying to replace Marcus Fenix with someone with character.

That said, Tails the Ultramarine would be pretty awesome.

Well, considering the Sonic universe's running on *Chaos* emeralds....I imagine sonic would be a khornite, if only because nothing else fits him.
