I've seen many games where the flag next to the "English" choice is the Union Jack. Then again, there aren't that many games that ask you what language you want to play in in the first place.
England, Scotland and Wales are their own countries. Great Britain refers to all three together. They obivoulsy have been unified historically but each has its own governing body, though there is also a governing body of all three. Just like the term British Isles which refers to Great Britain, Ireland and surrounding areas, some of which are under the control of England - they are considered their own territories.Aenir said:

In the way the work, that is true. They are unified while having autonomy. however from a legal standpoint they are still their own country.Aenir said:

I know that and I understand why it is differentiated, but to be honest, like the OP it does bother me that the americanisation of English is almost seen as its own language when its not. Every English speaking country has its own nuances but you dont ever see English (New Zealand), English (Australia), English (Singapore) etc.TheNamlessGuy said:
