Indeed. I even did a quick search to see if there are any species where the male produces ovum. There are not.

Depends on how you define it. For example, several species of frogs and a few kinds of fish, (clownfish for example) are quite capable of switching genders if needed. So, if you are going by gender at time of birth, there are indeed male eggs

Sorry, but in my eyes anyone who thinks that people with a different opinion than theirs should be "re-educated" is a Nazi (or a Commie - make your choice, none of them loved homosexuals anyhow). You see, in countries applying this re-educational theory, homosexuality is a crime and gays-lesbians-transgenders are usually hanged. (OK, in case of lesbians, stoned to death in the name of the most human religion - any criticism of which gets one labelled as "racist", LOL!) It's hilarious to see where your best friends live. The process is considerably more complex and at this point not feasable for...anyone, really, but it is possible to zip together the single helix's in two eggs into a viable DNA strand. There are obvious implications, for example and most obvious the new cell can only be female, but it has been done and produced a cell capable of full cellular mitosis and replication.

To be honest, I give it another 20 years or so and men will be completely obsolete from a reproductive standpoint.

I hope for that, maybe then all relationships will be based on how well the people work with each other, and the next generation wont need to worry about being involved with crazy motherfuckers who "just want to start a family already!" If only.

I don't think you're supporting that idea, but I'd just like to say that I think all human beings have much better ways to be valued than on reproduction.

There's enough old women who buy a child by whatever means just because they want to add it to their collection of consumable goods. Whenever I read about a grandma-aged woman wanting a child for "self-realisation", the egoism makes me sick. They only think about themselves.
And while I accept the whole LBGT thing as it is, I'm against the idea of them raising children. Sorry, but to me it's sick. People nowadays have the right to everything beyond human decency and reason.
