since it's been 4 years since oblivion, i think there should at least be an announcement for TES V..
can't think of any other series that really "needs" another sequel and hasn't announced one yet
But TES5 has been announced, It's got an article about it on planet elder scrolls and everything.
really? didn't know that ^^ but thanks, that just made my day :D

...I want Legend of Dragoon 2, but we all know a sequel to that would ruin everything :(

I want a sequel to Advent Rising if I cant have LoD2.
LoD2 is a nice idea...But sadly there's no room for one. All the loose ends wer tied up. However...I'd KILL for a prequel! Let's go back about...10,000 years, shall we?
I agree that there needs to be another Dragoon game, and a prequel isn't a bad idea... However, I disagree that the game left no opening for a sequel. The current roster of characters' stories were tied up neatly, but to assume that conflict (i.e. the main conflict of the story) would never arise again because one big baddie (technically two, if you're nit-picking) was defeated well... that's just silly. If Final Fantasy has taught us anything, its that franchises can continue with similar mechanics, but completely new stories and characters. (and a LoD2 wouldn't have to be completely new story either, given the ending) Then again, if handled poorly, it would just end up as another Final Fantasy X-2, and nobody wants that. heh.

I'd also say there needs to be a Lair 2 and Heavenly Sword 2. What? sometimes they get it right the second time and actually deliver what they promise instead of rushing to meet a launch date.

As well as:
MegaMan X-9 (why not?)
Final Fantasy Tactics 2 (the original, not the Advance series which, incidentally, could also use another sequel)
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 3 (never gonna happen with The Old Republic coming soon)
Warcraft 4 (shut up, WoW fans. I liked old-school Warcraft. Again... probably never gonna happen)

Golden Sun 3
Guild Wars 2
Marvel vs Capcom 3
Diablo 3

OT: Where is my Kingdom Hearts 3?
It will come if FF Vs XIII sells well. Okay?

OT:I want a Sly 4. The third one ended on such a fucking cliffhanger. And it's been eating me up inside.

Both Beyond Good and Evil and Metal Arms, Glitch in the System should have sequels. They were great.

Freespace 3 idd
System Shock 3 (Bio was okay, but it's not SS)
Elder Scroll's V
Freelancer 2

World of Warcraft II (now imagine that)

And one of my my personal favorites:

Imperium Galactica 3 which should be the best space based RTS+god-game ever!

Final Fantasy 754, I can't wait for that game to come out in 2046.

But really, there should be a new Elder Scrolls game out.

Lost Odyssey 2
I dunno, by the end you are invincible immortal demi-gods with the plot wrapped up. I think it would take a hell of an effort to shoehorn in a sequel.

Fracture 2. An obscure little game that was surpisingly good for what it cost (£10).
