I want them to scrap the X-Com shooter and release a proper turn based strategy game more in line with UFO Defense and Terror from the Deep (I have a strong feeling I'm not the only one on this though).
^ Over 9000 times, this.

Either another Sonic Chronicles or an actual sequel to Chrono Trigger.

Or Klonoa 3, or Megaman Legends 3. D:<

I'm shocked and amazed that the Wii has been out for almost 5 years now, and yet there is still no word of a Star Fox game for it (and probably won't be). I'm not even a big Star Fox fan or anything, but... motion controls + plane = total sense (at least in my head). It's not about the franchise, it's about Nintendo missing the obvious idea right in front of them. That they put as a Mario Party mini-game for #8. -_-;

I'm gonna second the guy who said "The Last Airbender" but leave out the part where Sham Alan directs it, instead just starting over. But don't (I repeat, DO NOT) do that yet. Wait about 10 or 20 years for people to forget, then try. And hopefully get an actual screenplaywright (one with talent) to write the script so that we have a script that moves at a tolerable pace. It's not gonna be easy, but if done right, there's a slim chance it could be a Harry Potter-style epic (though with a much smaller fanbase). The cartoon's seriously one of the best American cartoons to come out in the last ten years or so; it deserves better than what we got from one of the minor bad guys from Birdy the Mighty.

I've also heard Green Lantern was a disaster (haven't seen that one, but DAMN, Bob... and I was really looking forward to it). Again, it doesn't need a sequel as badly as it needs a reboot. But if this is supposed to be a fragment of a possible Justice League movie, maybe we should focus on a different superhero first. The Flash might make a neat starting point. Or Wonder Woman. And then do the Green Lantern movie later.

Bulletstorm sequel. I think i'm one of the few that wants interesting, unique gameplay.

Edit: Brutal Legend. That game was gold to me. Best RTS i've played on console to date.

Viewtiful Joe. The first one, on Gamecube, was amazing. Stupidly hard, too. But still fun. Then there was Joe 2. Equally amazing, with mildly lower difficulty, meaning it was finishable by Young RPGs. Then, there was the DS spinoff, also fun. But they promised me a third game. They gave me a DS spinoffy thing, and a Smash-Bros-Esque thing.

I wanted Viewtiful Joe 3, on a home console, where it belonged. As Captain Blue said, "There's two more times when Earth will be in danger, and each time a hero must stand up to defend it." So where did that ultimate ending go, Capcom? The DS wasn't the right place to conclude Joe, damnit!

If Level-5 could make a Dark Cloud game that doesn't have bugs out 8.5 wazoos, that'd be nice.:D
Did Dark Cloud 1 have bugs? I didn't notice anything other than the no-key-in-sun-and-moon-temple glitch, which wasn't a big deal for me. It was a pretty solid game.

Dark Cloud 2 however, sucks pretty bad. I like its atmosphere, but the story is definitely spotty and just all over the place. And they filled the game with too many items that serve no purpose but to be synthesized...

And Spheda is terribly, terribly difficult x.x

I actually came to this topic to ask for a Dark Cloud sequel that didn't suck :D I love roguelikes.

Republic Commando 2 anyone?
Fucking yes!

With the sudden turn to FPS I have no clue why they didn't put money into that again... I mean common... Star Wars... sell to all the loyal fans for the cannon, also that would be a great excuse for co-op.

Agreed. The first is such a billiant concept, and fairly well executed, but I'd love to see what they could do with it now, looking back and seeing what went right and what didn't (especially taking a good hard look at Dark Chronicle, because all I've heard about it is either raving reviews or comments about how they tried to do too much and it just clutters everything up).

Seriously, I would love it if they had more complex weapon trees, maybe throw in some variations with the anti-s and elements, rather than just having a weapon's usefulness be determined by the attack and magic. Also, more rivers and trees. I don't mind that there are limited roads and stuff, because the limitation makes the effort you put into a creation really matter, but rivers and trees are purely decorative, so having more of those would be awesome.

OT: Golden Sun. Except make it decent, this newer sequel was too easy, the points of no return made me sad, the scattered addition of new team mates was more jarring than helpful, and all the weapons and armours seemed to just be recycled from the other games.

a new planescape game would be great. i dont mean another game about the nameless one, but a game set in the world. a game set in the same world but made in a similar way as to the elder scroll game would be the best thing ever
Exactly. See this guys answer obsidian? MAKE THIS NOW. Also hire more QA people so it will actually work at launch.

For the love of God, somebody please make another Legend of Dragoon. Hell, a spiritual successor would work. That game deserves it.
Agreed.

I would also vouch for Vagrant Story.

Dark Void 2. I liked the first one, lay off!!
I really didn't like Dark Void, but you stole my answer. I felt that if it only had a bigger budget and more hype, it could have been the best game ever. Seriously, if Dark Void 2 comes out, I will buy it full price brand new because I think Dark Void had such potential.

I truly want a sequel to Vanquish as well. Such a great fast paced over the top sci-fi shooter that was incredible amounts of fun. I'm just hoping for a sequel or at least some new levels to play around in. And I'd also hope that the sequel would be longer considering Vanquish was like 6 hours long...

I'd like to see the Restaurant at the End of the Universe made into a film. Yeah, most people hated the first one because it wasn't 100% true to the books, but the books weren't 100% true to the radio series either. Plus, Pink Floyd could cameo as Disaster Area.

It's unlikely to happen now, seeing as Mr. Adams passed away, and the cast of the first film don't want to do it either, but a man can dream, can't he?
