My "trick" was a simply play of emotion and basic thought. By saying I voted for sky earlier, the killer chose to target sky in order to make it seem like I killed her, but the medic, who likely believed I was the killer due to my suspicious behavior, protected Sky from me, thus forcing the killer to pick another person, who wasn't me, because they're likely aware that everyone is going to vote for me next. But, if I was the killer, why on earth would I have kill the very person everyone is expecting me to kill?
Short answer: I wouldn't. It would've been a mistake that anyone could've seen, and so, that makes it pretty clear that it isn't me.
Plus, with your announcement, we have confirmed that sky is not the killer, therefore eliminating two potential candidates. And I think there was one other person who was saved, but I can't remember, if so, that makes it three people we can count out.
Yet again, I'm tired and hyped up on sugar, so this probably makes no sense.
