@Schizzy: I think he was trying to see if the killer would react to it and try to strike a deal with him. Some killers have done that in the past. =P

I'm too confused, and still possibly drunk to think of implications.

[HEADING=1]Anyway yes Link is dead! The spy has been eliminated! Time to start getting those votes in people![/HEADING]

The Batman gambit is honestly one of the stupidest moves one can make. And if keelz had done it right, he would have taken Link's name out of the message, as to protect his identity. Thus saving him from being killed. But hey, not everyone can be batman.

@Link:I feel for you man. That has to be as disappointing as the time I was medic and saved the killer like 3 times. And was then executed. That was the round that Neo won...

Wait, so let me get this straight: Link was the spy and sent out the message about who the possible killers may be, which Keelz sent to said possible killers in hopes that it would reveal the true killer. The thing that I don't get is... how?

@WarP: How what? How would it reveal the killer? It won't! xD

It was a gamble, one that hasn't paid off, obviously.

@Schizzy: Yeah, I've got my first screenplay in the works. It will be a classic private detective movie with treacherous dames and hard-boiled men.

Except the main character will die halfway through the movie and be replaced by some random guy on the street tasked to solve the rest of the case. It will be GLORIOUS!! :p

@Icarion: For unfortunate stories involving misdirected resources and killer victories, I think yours takes the cake. You have both my sympathy and my respect. >.<

@WP:

Step 1: Reveal spy's identity to killer

Step 2: ???

Step 3: Profit!

@Everyone: For any future spies, I'm pretty sure this shows that keelz is unreliable and unpredictable. I will be excluding him from any future official correspondence and I recommend you do the same.

@Link/Sky: So basically what you're saying is that it was a stupid move... Yeah, I'm with ya there. :p

@Link OOH! OOH! Can I be the random guy on the street! Pick me pick me pick me!!

@Sky/Icarion/War I can kinda see how the killer MAY have been inclined to believe Keelz was working for him since he gave away the identity of the spy. But the fact is, when it's round 2 and the spy has narrowed it down to 4 people and everyone knows who those 4 people are, the game is pretty much over.

Also if he had left out Link's name, that would have seemed pretty fishy. At least, if I were the killer it would have raised some red flags in my head.

@Fragrance: Well, that would actually make for a good story. Someone who was initially a suspect coming back to find the killer and prove his innocence. He has to race against to time to deduce the identity before the mob finds him so he can ensure that he lives to see another day.

Actually, that would be a really good story... >.>

Anyways, back onto tactics.

The simple workaround would have been to claim that he was the spy instead. Or even to claim that literally anyone else was the spy. Or to even just ask me before he went to the suspects so I could give him a good strong backhand before the damage could be done.

As it stands, there were probably a million solutions to make his plan work better than it did. He didn't bother to consider any of them.

@Link Yeah, that would be really good actually... Since there's a pretty high chance that I'm next to go perhaps we'll see a story like that soon....

Well, I guess if nothing else he made this round a little more interesting since his plan really did nothing except get you killed as far as I can tell.

@Schiz: Someone mention the time I killed everyone? That was such a fun round. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

@Icarion: I just appreciate you were so willing to help make sure I got past the opening rounds long enough to put my master plan into action. That was sweet.

@Fragrance: Yeah pretty much.

@Pm0n3y: And I thanked you properly for that! I gave you a nice little final death send off. Don't think I didn't appreciate your help in my victory.

@Votes: I thought I would have more than 3 votes at this time, especially since more than three different people have posted in here since I posted the identity of the victim. Come on yous! Vote!

@Neo (again): Ah. I'm just seeing that. Last it said it was waiting for the killer/medic. Vote incoming.

@Mrmac: Watch all you want. We won't be taking applications until this killer is caught. Speaking of which...

People! I still only have about half the votes necessary right now! If I don't get any more, I will kill off on of the non-voters! You have until tomorrow night!
