@Schiz: Psh. I don't wanna break my D10s... especially since I only have two of them and need them both for my rolls. First D10 states the tens digit (10, 20, 30, etc), second D10 is the ones (1, 2, 3 and so on). They're both numbered from 0 to 9, so a roll of 00 counts as 100.

I awoke from my nightmare drenched in sweat, panting heavily as I looked around to find myself in my bed. I had no memory of how I had gotten there, only remembering the terrible dream about a murderer switching out my Mountain Dew with Mello Yello. Remembering that foul taste in my mouth made me shudder, and I quickly grabbed a Dew from the mini fridge by my bed to wash that particular memory away.
"Have you awakened from your nightmare?"
A voice from out of nowhere startled me. I turned to see where it had come from, eventually finding a person hidden in the shadows of the far corner of my room. I had a bad feeling about where this was going and regretted the fact that I had been too lazy to put a lamp there like I had been meaning to for the last couple weeks. Unable to see the person, I had no choice but to respond and hope for the best. "Uh.... Yeah. Who are you? Why are you here?"
The person did not move. They simply stood there as they replied. "Because the cycle has begun anew! And I have decided that you have no place in it. Go back to sleep. I'm afraid it's already past your bed time." The eerie words chilled me to the bone. I knew it was futile, but I had to run. Before I could even make a move, the figure's arm raised suddenly and I heard a long bang before my vision went black.
As my soul ascended to the glorious JIB, I heard sirens heading towards my fortress. Soon, they would discover my corpse with fatal bullet wound to the head. And hopefully they were quick enough to catch my killer as well. But even as that thought ran through my head, the memories of the previous cycles flooded back into my mind. That was no nightmare I had this morning, it was a memory of first death in a long time. And once this cycle was over, I'd be thrown right back into the chaos. "Those fuckers... I went so long without dying and now I get offed twice in a row? Well... At least the drinks are free up here."
