I've discovered something wonderful about watching Let's Plays. I can watch someone do commentary on a game I've been meaning to get to while also working on my homework.

Essentially, Let's Plays are efficient for multitaskers who only want the story of a game. ^_^

@Link: I've actually have been wanting to make my own lets play for awhile since I love making stupid comments and I love doing commentary. Sadly I have yet to find a way to record the game since I only use consoles :/

@staika: The ones I've been watching are just a group of friends who riff over the gameplay and then cut out the commentary for the cutscenes. That way you get all the goofiness of friends bullshitting with each other and still get an overall impression of the game. It's informative and hilarious.

Not sure what they're using for screen capture but I'm sure there's a way to hook it through your PC for recording. I've been watching a couple guys play through the Metal Gear Solid series and they haven't had a problem streaming to the computer from the console.
