@RaN: Yeah, this state is strange like that. For some reason I get out about about one to two weeks before everyone else does. Kinda sucks since it means I'm the only one around town for break.

I guess it isn't really all that bad though. I never really liked anyone around here anyway. >.>

@RaN: I go to school in South Dakota near the Black Hills. I'm about fifteen minutes away from Mount Rushmore. Great place to be in if you have any interest in geology or mining. Terrible place if you like having any consistency with your weather. XP

@Mortis: Yeah, that is really nice. The way it actually works out for me is that I head to school after everyone else and get back before they do. On the flip side, I usually have my work cut out for me the entire time I'm there. I usually spend the majority of my off time asleep. :/

@staika: I guess that makes sense for a two year school. Still, you're getting an entire semester's worth of classes in half the time. I would hate that.

@Link: which is why I have to study like crazy since we've gone through so much different information in such a short amount of time that it hurts my brain to think about it. The good thing though is that I like my classes here much more than when I was at another 4 year college so It's worth it to me.

@staika: Yeah, you really have to be able to like it if you plan on devoting that much time and energy to it. Otherwise motivation is very hard to come by.

@RaN: They can be pretty bad sometimes. We've actually had an extremely warm winter so far. It'll snow pretty hard over night and be completely gone by the next afternoon.

I'm expecting a full on blizzard in May right in time for finals. >.<

@Trilby: Last week was weird here. It would be snowing so hard that visibility dropped down to about five meters for about ten minutes. Then the sun would come out for about thirty minutes and melt everything that fell.

This cycle repeated with only minor variations for about three days. We all had meteorological whiplash. :/

@quartersystem: my college used one. i liked it a lot, but its not the best set up if you like to not have your grade in the class ruined by 1 test score.
