@Trilby: Far Cry 2, I saw the far cry 3 trailer and I had an urge to play far cry 2 since I just beat the two original far cries.
And yes it is nerdy, it makes it worse in that I know some of the commands off the top of my head and I know what the information is talking about. Well that's what my major is on so I should know what that information is telling me

and it's not that bad to know commands like that. a couple of years ago, when I was doing technical studies, I had to basically type the same two lines of code in about 20 times, and it got to the point where I wasn't even paying attention but still doing it.

@Trilby: I played it a long time ago and I was disappointed with how long it was but now I really want to beat it. I won't let it beat me!
Well my major (Which is Networking Database Professional, AKA professional computer nerd) requires me to learn all about computers and how to run and fix them. I get to mess around in a virtual PC so much in my class, so it's quite interesting

@staika All I'm imagining is you as Roy from The IT Crowd... But somehow, I doubt the course I'm trying to get onto will be like that. It's a lot of applied mathematics and graphics programming (that makes up about a quarter of the four year course).
@games: Been playing Oblivion recently since I can't play Skyrim (don't own it and can't run it). Aside from that, my gaming options are severely limited since I don't even own a machine myself.
@CA Well that must be terrible, not owning the machine. But Oblivion's fun. I've sunk many a day into that game *nostalgic smile*

@CA: I know what you mean, I can't PC game since my laptop is not a high end laptop. It makes me feel left out since everyone in my class has a high end gaming desktop. Even my teacher has this kick ass desktop that he brought in to show us. Now that was a pretty computer.
@Trilby: I don't think my major will get into programming, We do a lot of math though since we need to do subnetting, binary, hexidecimal, and a few others. And whats awesome is that my teacher is a calculator nazi and we will not be allowed to use calculators at all during our time there. You learn to appreciate calculators when you start getting into 2 to the 20th power.....

@staika: I was fine up until November 24th, when my old machine literally died. It was six or seven years old, but I can't afford to buy a new one. So I'm pretty much screwed.
