Alright, I've finished studying and I'm about two paragraphs away from finishing my paper. Finally I've caught up.

Just need to survive tomorrow and I'm ready for spring break. >.<

@Trilby: Well would you look at that. :p

I'm terrible at keeping track of landmark posts. I should at least try and make this one semi-memorable.

The chill northern wind blew freely through Murderville's quiet streets. Wrapped in a shroud of darkness, only the wavering and slowly dying light from tired street lights kept the beasts of the night from engulfing the world.
I felt it bite with teeth of ice as it ran trough me, as if I was nothing but air.
By the light of a moon just barely visible behind the clouds, and the fading artificial glow, I could see a shape moving towards me. It was a wave of people, lurking in the night, approaching me with a steady pace.
Of course, given their numbers, it was the most obvious lurking I had ever seen.
As we grew closer and closer, so did the disgusting ball of uncertainty in my stomach. It grew for every step. Something wasn't right about this. Why would a mass of people be out now. Why would anyone be outside now?
I couldn?t wait to get home, to leave scary mobs and bitter winds behind.
In this long, straight street, this canyon of the night, we finally met.
A lone, lost soul, just wanting to come home to his loved one, and the wave of hate, a tide that cannot be stopped.
It stopped dead in it's track, a few meters away from me. Familiar faces became visible, the lances of the charge.
?Hi!?. The words echoed through the canyon. ?Where are you all heading at this time of night??
The answer came quickly.
With a sound that would make the hardest of men fell repulsed, the rock hit my head. I raved about, trying to stay afoot.
Unstoppable, unforgiving, unmerciful. The tide came, the wave advanced. It swallowed me, and as my head hit the ground, my world shattered.
I am so sorry that I had to leave this world before you.
So sorry. Loremaster.
I know it took way too long to finish, but I didn't have access to a computer for long enough to write something yesterday. Apparently, I have a completely different view of how winter break should be spent than the rest of the household. Therefore, no computer.

@Steke: You really evoke a pretty brilliant sense of despair. Very fitting for Murderville. Your imagery is also highly visceral.

Basically, I think it's a great piece. XD

@Malyc: Thank you for editing that. I had no idea why you were referring to your Grandma. XP

@Link: Again, the Kindle's auto correct feature is to blame. I need to figure out a way to shut that off.

@Malyc: Nah, I love auto correct. It leads to some of the most hilarious misunderstandings. ^_^
