Ah, Age of Empires II, The Age of Kings. I started gaming at a higher age than most of my friends, for I had no one in my family or with my friends at that time who was gamers. So AoEII was my first real game, as my parents got it free with a computer they bought. I played that game to shreds, completing almost all the missions. With a lot of cheats in some cases.
I love that game. AoEIII wasn't half as good for some reason. I must have gotten older.

@Malyc/Stekepanne: AoE3 just looks mehdiocre, and AoE Online is terrible. Too deviant from the original games.

@Malyc: I do believe it was 'i love the monkey head', rather than 'king'. That VDML or VMDL or whatever was a fast little bugger.

@Malyc: That was 'i love the monkey head'. It created a VDML or VMDL, I dunno which. But it was essentially a super-fast Villager that could place foundations of buildings but never build them, and it couldn't attack or gather resources or anything.
Oh, and if I remember correctly, the unit is a streaker.

@Malyc: I don't remember anything named 'Furious the Monkey Boy'... I might have to find the old disc and play it to see for myself.
@CA: It was a VERY angry monkey that, if i remember right, had insanely high attack damage. I'll see if I can't find a video of them in action.

@C&C: I've played almost all the C&C series, stopping in 2008, I think. I remember forgetting to eat and sleep when playing the first C&C.
