@Malyc The biggest issue that I have with Republicans is that they grant tax breaks to the rich, as someone who is fairly poor (I'm under the second poverty line-under $30 000 per year- here in Canada), it irritates me that the rich get the same level of tax breaks that I get, when they can actually afford it. Other than that, I disagree with them trying to force their religious beliefs into laws. I also disagree with the beliefs that Keynesian economics doesn't work, but that's a discussion that shouldn't happen here.

I made less than 16k last year, so I'm in the same boat. The problem I have with Liberals is their propensity to enable people who choose to not maintain a job to live off the taxes from people who do have jobs. If the whole welfare/social security issue were to be resolved, you'd find me a lot more tolerant of liberalism as a whole.

As for the religious beliefs, let me ask you this. If a Muslim Imam or a Jewish Rabbi were to burn a Christian bible, do you think it would generate as much anger and hatred as it did when the Texan Pastor burned the Quran?
