It was like a summer's dream.
The road was bathed in a misty white drizzle. Every crystalline raindrop descended without a care. They almost floated down. Each took the time to bask in the morning light, absorbing the sights and smells of the world around it. And at journey's end, rested lazily on whatever surface they landed on.
Too few mornings like this anymore. Far too few.
Schizzy decided he was going to enjoy this. Savour it. He released the gas pedal. Slowly and steadily, he drifted to a gentle stop. It felt almost sacrilegious to bring the car into a sudden and abrupt stop, with the morning rain caressing the car the way it does.
With a soft click, Schizzy popped opened the door and stepped out into the rain. He would change out later. The office could wait. What couldn't wait was the rain cleansing away of all his worries. To enjoy this moment.
But all too soon, he had to face hard reality again. Couldn't get away from the madness. The lynchings. The murders. Especially the murders.
He began to fall. As his eyes turned towards the sky, he saw the droplets that escorted him to the asphalt. Each telling of its descent from the heavens. They told him it was alright. They would cushion his fall as they pooled onto the ground around him.
With a splash, he was on the ground. The rain stopped falling. And the sun broke through the clouds. As he raised his hand to cover his eyes, he saw blood dripping from it.
Then he saw someone standing above to him.
As the last raindrops fell, as the sun shone through them, he was surrounded by a misty halo.

@Malyc: Well, checking the records, Diablo has yet to acquire an original three role in his career in SK (Two Entwined, One Arbiter, One Priest). However, if we go on the logic that killers are the ones being targeted, then the three killers before the two killer victims were yourself, Pm0n3y and Nouw. Since you were claimed in the Entwined death, if one of the other two were to go down, we would have established a pattern, and then we could be Holmes and Watson, since we're doing more detective work than the other pair!

@Neo: Technically, in the round I was the killer, I only got it because of the Doubles round. Link was the primary, and he went all the way. We'll just have to wait and see if Counter Attack gets offed... I think she was the killer the round after I was.
