@RaNDM: Because I feel that a tall, commanding presence fits better for an ambitious lawyer with everything at stake than something that resembles a short, pudgy toad. I could probably make short and pudgy toad work if I changed things around a little with my character sheet; buuuuut, I don't wanna.
Name: Bobby O'Neil
Age: 22
Sex: Male
Appearance: Shorter than average at a height of 5'6", Bobby is a slender young man with dark brown hair. His mother was taken by illness when he was eight. His real-father died in the war, but his mother's brother, Jack, was a humble tailor, making coats and jackets for their small neighbourhood in Boston. Bobby worked with Jack for little pay, food, and even less respect. A few days following his 21st birthday, after a heavy night's drinking in the nearby speak-easy, he was contacted by the local constable that his uncle had been found dead in an alley, not far from the shopping district their shop is found in. Noticing his opportunity, Bobby has risen up to the challenge and is attempting to establish a larger tailoring business than his uncle could have dreamed of. He received the invitation a year after his uncle was murdered. The prospect of the heirlooms struck curiosity in the young man, and he set out to see what he may find.
Secret: Jack was murdered by Bobby in a drunken rage after a rough day of little pay. Using what little money he had saved over the years, he bought an old .38 Special Smith and Wesson shot his uncle three times. To this day, he always carries the revolver with himself, believing it to be the key to success.

@Twink: You know it's Prohibition, right? People weren't as healthy back then. I think the average height was 5'6". My character is a little taller than average, but I consider him to be a tank.

@RaNDM: Yes, I am aware that people were shorter back then, but thankfully I used the generalization of "tall" instead of giving an exact number, so everyone can feel free to use their imagination. Unfortunately, I didn't think about all that when I was actually making the character, and now I realize that an age of 52 is kind of pushing the envelope, though there is still some time left for him. So in that regards: whoops, my bad.
I made my character tall 'cause when I think of a mentally disturbed doctor that hides it rather well, I imagine him to be quitetall and gaunt.

Appearance: Slightly above average height with tightly curled short auburn hair and green eyes, come rain or shine Sylvia has to look good, windswept hair or running make up just isn't an option. She makes sure to keep with the height of fashion (she can after all afford the luxury of doing so) and enjoys making sure people know just how wealthy she is. She carries around a verity of cigarette holders made from expensive metals, jade or even ivory in her expensive hand bag. Currently her favourite dress is a piece made from red silk that she picked up in Paris which has been delicately embroidered, to match she wears a pair of black heels.
Secret: Man eater or black widow, which ever you prefer best. Sylvia has left a trail of broken men and in some cases broken bodies across the States. It started out as a quest for material wealth, but now she has come to enjoy finding men to bury the hatchet in. Sometimes they deserved it, sometimes they didn't, all in all it didn't matter as long as Syvlia got her kick from it.
