So far, it seemed like noting of interest would happen; good thing I was proven wrong more than once these past few days...
The first surprise came from the representative of House Dirtia dying from an electrical fence. First off, I would be lying if I said that I noticed that fence from the start. Seriously, who the fuck brought a fence, let alone one of electrical properties, to a meetup such as this? It was like the Dark Magi has been eyeing in on some of the representative's conversations about the evolution of magic or something like that... Second off, this particular representative was actually The Oracle off all people! I mean, granted, the initial reaction I had was "I wish it would have been Cory who would fall by the Dark Magi's power so far", but after thinking about it, I could see that The Deceiver was, in fact, more of a major threat that even the Dark Magi right now... However, the second surprise was less of a downer, but more of a lack of true trust for this world...
At around the twilight hour, a note was given to me by the representative of House Liz Noble. It told me to meet with the fellow representatives at the main area of this secluded place, as a potential candidate for execution has been chosen by a majority of representatives still alive right now. At first, it seemed like I was the first rep to make it to the main area at large. I was wrong. I began to hear the sound of chanting coming from the outskirts of the area. At first, I couldn't recognize the given tempo... However, once the chanting fully began to sync completely and a glowing Oreichalcos circle appeared beneath my feet, the lyrics became crystal clear:
Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga
Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga
Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga
Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga
It seems that whoever was voted the first to be executed would die by those that are quote-unquote "hooked on a feeling" that what they are doing is for the greater good of Elvendale. I can't fully blame those that choose me in particular, although I assume if I did find out who they were in some way, shape, or form, if meta permits, things could get ugly from here on out. However, it does prove that, no matter what House we hail from, we all have a similar saying in case of stuff like this happening:
Always bet on black
Too bad I was too busy being high on believing to take it to heart this whole time...
(Whoops?)
