Good gravy! This is perhaps one of the most efficient murder mysteries I've ever been privy to. Can somebody wipe off the morgue gurneys?

Sorry, what? No, people care to see death posts. It's a central part of the game! Why is it becoming a trend that nobody bothers to write their deaths anymore? It's not just you, either. Since last game we haven't even had half of the dead people write a death scene, and hardly anyone is talking anymore. It seems like nobody even cares to play anymore, but continue anyway.

@user: The problem is that when I write a death, I write a death. I throw hours into that puppy. Hours that I could spend doing just about anything else.

If no one reads it, then what's the point?

Trust me when I say that I love writing. This was one of my main creative outputs for quite some time. But you can only sink six hours into a post and receive no response so many times before it become futile. It's even worse now since we no longer link death posts in the OP. There is pretty much no chance of anyone ever looking back to see what we have written.

If it's that much of a concern, I'll write something. It won't be until tomorrow though. And it'll probably be quick.

@Link_to_Future: I'll be honest: death posts are half the reason I like these games (The other half being interacting with others inside a unique setting). It's that we get these interesting settings and fill them with potentially creative minds that a bunch of fun spills out like the delicious entrails of chocolatey ghouls, and I wouldn't play them any other way. If it's the feedback you're concerned about, at least believe me when I say that I take people's posts seriously and, even if I don't provide feedback all the time, I still find great pleasure in reading them, analyzing them, and seeing how this other individual wrote something completely different from the way I would have. I enjoy seeing how people take something like the lock-down of a BoS bunker and spin a creative death into one with levity and humor and sometimes in-jokes that I don't get. But that's the spirit I like, and that's my two cents.

And if you do post a death, I'm gonna read it and send you some pity feedback because by God I'm gonna show you I'm serious about comedic killer roleplay games.

That's odd. It looks like the average heat level in the level below is...rising. Almost as if two of the BoS members are making sweet, passionate kissy roleplay.

tbh, I don't think I've ever seen a case of someone "not being invited back for future rounds", after posting a ridiculous or asinine death or no death at all.

And that's the main reason why I don't ever join this game myself, because I'm no writer, and I can't just 'whip up' a piece of creative writing like everyone else here seems to be able to do.

Eh I don't think it matters TOO much, but cool deaths do make the game a lot more fun. I reckon you should try it, you may be surprised at yourself (like I was when I first tried out the RP forum).

@Link: I totally get what you mean. Having no response to an invested piece is a super downer. I know I get into a depressive fit when a day goes by with no response.
