Panting and sweating, I ran through the tight corridors of the ship. I don't really know why, but for some reason, I felt like somebody was watching me. And I had no privacy. Oh oh oh...
It was the Cylon. I could feel it in my bones. And if I wasn't careful, I'd soon feel something far more painful there, as well.
I was used to being alone; In fact, I somewhat reveled in not having to constantly find myself surrounded by people who ignored or irritated me. A little less conversation, a little more attention please: That was my kind of philosophy. But now, I felt genuinely
lonely. And it was not a feeling I found myself enjoying very much. My sprinting steps cast empty-sounding echoes down the empty hallways, which just cemented the feeling of isolation. Our mission had already gone to hell in a handbasket; Our Medic, our Spy, our Arbiter, our Priest... All of them were dead, and some of their demises were partially our fault. The few of us who were still alive had to stick together. Not to mention, I didn't feel safe in my room anymore. I had to find company. Had to, had to,
had to.
I looked around in a panic. Somebody? Anybody?!
Why did the goddamn ship suddenly feel so empty and desolate?!
I slowed down, stopped and caught my breath. Once it returned, I found a desperate howl escape my throat:
"WHERE THE HELL IS EVERYONE?!"
"
Right here."
I froze, right in the middle of a step. I thought I recognized the voice behind me, and while I should've felt relieved, my mind started to race.
No...No, no, no, no...
"Aren't you happy?" The voice continued cheerfully. "You were looking for people, and you found them. Or me, at least."
I tried to say something, but the only thing that escaped my mouth was a terrified gurgle. I didn't dare turn around, even though I should've. I couldn't tell from the voice who it was. I heard a sigh.
"Well, you weren't of much use, anyway." The Cylon said. "You should be glad that nothing of value is lost."
Goddammit.
The last thing I heard was the sound of a gun.

In other words:
I would've drawn a nifty comic, but I don't have access to my scanner at the moment.
