Day 3: The normies still don't suspect me. It'll make it all the easier to club Secondhand Revenant with a rusty pipe when no one's looking.
Looks like you clubbed the wrong human! Cylon image recognition needs updating

Now hold on. We don't even know who's been killed yet, how are we suppose to properly vote? I'm all about speeding up this game a bit but we sort of need a death post soon. What if we vote for the person who got murdered already before we knew they were killed? Votes will probably mostly be random at this point but we should at least see who's been killed first.

So now we are supposed to wait for the death person to make a death post and then we know who was killed. Then after that we have to vote somebody out of the game.

---

Pseudonym wondered about the bizarre situation he had gotten himself into now. Apparently on this ship the crew thought the best way of dealing with an assassin was killing mistrusted people and hoping they would turn out to be the cylon. Surely with only twenty or so crewmembers it should be easy to check who was a robot and who wasn't without killing them. Surely a panicked series of public trials, as some of the crewmembers had propposed, would be as least as deadly and disruptive as the assassin could be. But even mentioning such concerns as a new and not yet trusted crewmember had led to his own loyalties being called into question. So he had decided to keep quiet about the unproductive way in which the situation was going to play out and play allong. What he found must surreal about the whole experience was that his crewmates could not stop joking about childrens cartoons and games. Maybe, he thought, it wouldn't come to public trials. Maybe the crew was too distracted by their silly cartoons to lynch their crewmates over empty suspicions. While he was thinking this he heard shouts. Somebody was literally screaming bloody murder. Distraught Pseudonym left his job and went to look what was going on and who was supposedly murdered.

@crimson5pheonix: "Low weedy"? Isn't that a weird way of saying "more kushin' for the pushin'"?

@Demagogue:
@Caramel Frappe: Damn... I knew Fire Emblem was subtle, but not that subtle... ;p

That's a creepy way of putting in...

@Fat_Hippo: Think of it as getting the best of both worlds... because it's a small world after all...

Unfortunately, the creepy factor is, in fact, creepy...
Corruption of Champions is an addicting flash game...
Keep waiting because everyone's still okay... for now...

@Armadox: Or worse... Tom Hanks hasn't thrown the Coke machine off the ship in a badass way...

@FPLOON Oh god just what have I gotten myself into

Also, how are we meant to work out who did it if we can't actually see who we're voting for publicly?

That did throw me off a bit. We could always hand him two votes but that ruins the fun of speculating on who would want poster X dead first.

For instance if I was dead after crimson's post that would have been fairly hilarious and made him look guilty. Which means, of course, since I'm not dead it must be him trying not to be too obvious! (I actually already voted for someone else. Who I guess may be already dead!?)

We speculate wildly of course! "Aha that guy never speaks much. He's the silent killer trying to avoid attention!" Or other things. Maybe a bit less wild.

See, if you had died I would have taken credit as a triple bluff to play head games with everyone while stating that it is a double bluff to mess with everyone. Because I'm a jerk.

Hardly less wild. First time I played, people mainly got killed because their usernames were suspicious. Doesn't take much, really.

Although yes, you're right, being very silent is also potentially a good way to get executed.

Well you *are* a Cylon so that's to be expected =P

Now if my original vote dies I can vote for the death of another person that has a 1 in 17 chance of being innocent

Well we could look at timing. If someone is logged off for too long that can tell us if they may not be the killer. Of course then the killer may off them because what's the point of innocents that are too clearly innocent

That won't work for some people. I'm willing to bet my profile will be logged on all the time because my phone is logged on here and doesn't turn off.

That is what Aerosteam does every round, and to this date it hasn't helped us one bit.
One round the killer didn't log on for a week so we decided to discount him as a suspect. Turned out he'd been using his girlfriend's account to send messages to the GM. So yeah, it's not especially helpful.
