There are so many people voting that way it wouldn't be too out of place. On top of that, everyone is willing to go headlong into it anyway. If the killer thought people would switch on their voting inertia, the killer isn't thinking right.

If that's the case, then why not kill someone gunning towards Hippo and Altname? That would generate better chances at survivability than if they would had picked any random mofo.

Because that'd be one less person aiming for Hippo or Altname, which might fracture the vote and put the doppleganger on the roulette. If you guys spend 2 rounds voting Hippo and Altname away if they're innocent, that's 2 rounds of thinning the herd so their 2 votes matter more.

Besides, we can't prove that Aerosteam wouldn't vote for Hippo/Altname anyway, so killing him wouldn't really matter.

If the killer was Hippo or Altname, they would have killed someone calling for their death. You guys still vote however you plan on voting from round to round, so they'd be eliminating a vote against them. Coming off as suspicious is hardly a concern since that's how most of you were going to vote anyway. Since the killer went after Aero, who has not voiced his opinion (if I'm not mistaken), the killer may be trying to eliminate people that might be going for them but for sure aren't being counted on to vote on innocents.

I wouldn't be so certain if I were you. In games like this, randomness is god and the dice roll is its prophet. Anything could happen. Maybe neither Altname or Hippo gets the axe but Secondhand instead? It's the nature of the beast, and I witnessed it many times.

I feel like they chose my moment of weakness as I was sick.

And that is part of it no doubt. We're really just waiting for Roy to tell us which of you died. The killer can *maybe* still win though if we're wrong too often. But chances are against that.
