Serial Killer Round 71: Nightvale: Invaded

It's hard to mislead people that near the end of a round. Especially as a dead lawyer. Twas fun, but we took a little too long in finding the spy. It also didn't help that all 3 evils were on the list by luck.

Although, yay for Hippo being on the team! We had Hippo chan's cheering on our side.

@tf2: You'll make the next round, but usually there's a bit of a cool down. You'll also probably want to wait for Aero to switch over the SK group so you can post news there.

Actually I was pretty sure it was Tizzy by the end there, by trying to avoid suspicion with an off track Skyrim discussion. Which I was happy to engage with so he'd be the last off and able to kill you all >

Well written, and indeed it does. Its about time I took off the writers hat. I will go ahead and post the thing that had been requested: a deathpost competition to be voted on.

We will have to get ahold of AeroSteam to organize you in as the new admin, since I don't know how to do that and I think I probably don't have permissions for it anyway.

Well, I guess this is the time to announce I was the Doppelgänger. Bugger. Ah well, it could've gone worse. I almost told SR who I was because I REALLY thought he was the killer. I was actually operating under that assumption this whole time.

Kind of a weird role. Lonely, somehow. You're one of the bad guys, but you don't know who the others are. You just try to stay alive until the spy dies. So I guess I did my job in that respect.

I was becoming an increasingly more suspicious target for people I imagine.

I was a total nobody of course.

I was absolutely content to just watch everything burn down, from the safety of that hilltop, hoping that absolutely nobody would notice me up there. I even brought a coffin specially made for me to hide in, just in case!

I actually wrestled with that one quite a bit because I wasn't sure how to handle it. On one hand I needed you to be evil because if you just told the good guys it would ruin the point of your role, but at the same time I felt like 3x voting power was way to much to just hand to the killer at the start of the game.

Ultimately I settled that I wouldn't let the killer/dopple in on their relationship, to stymie the early game vote advantage, but on the basis that the dopple/lawyer are required to be on the killers side, I would not let the killer murder either the lawyer or dopple knowing or unknowingly. So the killer was safe from accidentally killing you, but unless the lawyer picks you or they try to kill you nobody knows who you are - that way barring surprising luck or an announcement by doppleganger, there is no voting advantage for the killer until later in round.
