Damn it I wanted to say that. But I'd settle for Freakazoid, the syphon filter games, and I think Mortal Kombat needs to get off it's ass and do something new.Chicago Ted said:

Have to disagree with Sonic. They've stopped being fun because theres only so much you can do with it. The games were great, started going downhill with Sonic Heroes and have been crashing and burning ever since Shadow the hedgehog was released (the game not the character) just let them die.
On a note thats actually relevant to the thread, who here remembers the Shining Force series? Id love to see more games like there, hell keep the old school gameplay style and everything, Id still get one

I want more Thief games.
Nothing fancy, no 'tweaking with the formula' or 'making it more accessible' or anything else of the sort as the new game will undoubtedly have. Just a straight up continuation of the series. Better graphics, same gameplay.
You know what? Make it a spinoff. I like Garrett and all, he's a grand character, but his story is done and frankly by this point I just want more of that gameplay style and setting. There hasn't been a single decent pure stealth game since Thief: Deadly Shadows, and even that was a step down from the previous Thief games!

Besides which, the question isn't asking about reviving dead series, its about restarting current ones. Sonic for example still has games being made, but most people would like them to scrap current ideas and go back to basics.
I for one would like to see spyro reboot back to what it used to be, un-reboot if you will. The Legend of Spyro series does not capture the magic of the originals.
